Highly enjoyable turn based tactics game.
I completed it in about 40 hours or so but let's be honest, there was a lot of saving and reloading going on :)

Loved the setting and although i missed overwatch from other such titles such as X-Com i soon learned to live without it.

One big plus in the game is when they patched out the timed levels, well done developers.

So yes big thumbs up, well worth the money

Can't recommend it i''m afraid.
Starts of well enough but you soon realise most of the maps are reused with minor tweaks or different flight paths
You can't zoom out far enough which makes planning a nightmare.
The graphics are functional at best
The sound effects and music eventually just combine to make this awful din and worst of all i stopped having fun, the difficulty ramps up so dramatically that the game just feels unfair.
So after a reasonable bright start it's been uninstalled never to see the light of day again and that makes me sad :(

I quite like grind....but this is too much Grind :(

Would i recommend this game? yes why not

But why you may ask.

It's a faithful reconstruction of an arcade classic
It's cheap
You'll easily get your money's worth
Achievements are achievable
and more than anything else it's good old fashioned fun

Got to admit the graphics initially put me of as did the description a rogue like tower defense game.
I'm not too big a man to admit i was wrong, go buy it now if not sooner

Think Knock-off Duke Nukem but shorter :)

It'll last you 2-3 hours but if you get in a sale which i did you won't complain

Wonderful puzzle game that gets the balance right between challenging and frustration.

You only need one thing to master this game though and that's dedication.............ah who am i kidding get a youtube walk-through

The game is good however there's a couple of questions you need to ask yourself before purchasing it.
1. Are you prepared to get good at it?
This game is no arcade racer and can be very frustrating if you just go in thinking lets throw this car around and get from A to B asap. I quickly found a certain degree of feather was required on the brake and accelerator.
2. Are you ok driving on your own with no other cars to be seen and no real feeling you're in a race?
Yeah i know that's what rallying is but it can be sobering experience driving without any visible stimulus.

I liked the game hence the recommendation however i didn't love it and at times found it a bit boring also the graphics for this game get a lot of praise and yes at times it can look very pretty however a wet foggy night in Kenya is like a mud party in a sewage plant.
The graphic style though is pleasing and the sound was decent and driving through the different era's of rallying was fun just be prepared to put the time into mastering the techniques you will need to win.

The one big thing i hated in this game was gravestones at the side of the road......anyone who has played this will know what i mean ;)

In summary - Good game but tricky to master.

Easiest recommendation for quite some time.

Had this title since early access and the quality simply shines through, i honestly think this is the most fun top down racer i have ever played. It very much reminds me of an old Amiga title Skidmarks but with the graphics taken up several gears.
Talking of the graphics they have got them spot on perfectly capturing the balance between realistic and cartoony and it's a joy to watch races unfold on the excellent replay feature.
So lots different races to take part in with various types of vehicles (F1 to trucks) and plenty of tracks to race on.
There's weekly challenges and online racing which can be a tad frustrating when you are slow like me and you're getting battered at the back of the pack but rather than annoying me it encourages me to get better (work in progress)

So in summary great game at a very reasonable price, highly recommended.
