"Age of History 3" brings some mechanical improvements compared to its predecessor, but the overall experience ends up being frustrating and monotonous. The game can be entertaining during the first few hours, but it quickly becomes repetitive and lacks meaningful content to maintain long-term interest.

The biggest problem lies in the economic system: almost every action requires money, and if the player doesn't have enough resources, there's nothing to do but wait. This mechanic disrupts the game's pacing, turning what should be a strategic and dynamic experience into a constant waiting game. The gameplay becomes extremely slow, discouraging progress and making the experience tiresome.

The lack of historical scenario content is also disappointing, especially in more recent periods from the 18th century onwards. Scenarios like 1910 and 1936, which have enormous historical potential, end up being dull and uninspired. While there are some interesting events, the available time is far too short to build a strong economy or army, making the campaign frustrating and shallow.

Another major issue is the combat system. Battles are simplistic and lack strategic depth, missing key tactical elements that could make conflicts more engaging. A system similar to that of Hearts of Iron IV (HoI4) — with frontlines, logistical planning, and better troop control — would make wars much more dynamic and challenging.

Additionally, the law system is underdeveloped and lacks any real impact. There are no political parties, social groups, or internal events to make nation management more interesting. Regardless of the chosen country, the gameplay remains practically the same, with no significant variations or unique challenges.

Another critical issue is the lack of scenarios. The game, which should offer a broad exploration of different historical periods and contexts, provides very few options, making the gameplay even more repetitive. The potential is there, but the game feels like an unfinished product, seemingly rushed to release and relying solely on the absence of competition in the mobile grand strategy market.

Despite its potential and the fact that it is one of the few games of its kind available on mobile, "Age of History 3" fails to deliver a genuinely engaging and deep experience, falling far short of expectations for the genre.
