I played the first time on the itch.io version of the game and gladly payed again for the steam version. A lot of fun to play and the atmosphere of the game is super good. Definitely recommend and can't wait for when multiplayer gets added.

Only recently got the game while it was on sale for a dollar. Picking up copies for myself, my girlfriend, and my sister. So far has been a blast as we love co-op shooters and I don't know why it took me so long to play it. Stupid over the top fun is all I can say.

Honestly as it stands right now, if you are looking for a game with the loop of EFT but without it being super complex and tedious, than this is the game for you. Used to play Tarkov heavily (1200 hours) but stopped due to just not having the time or energy for it. This game is alot more easier in terms of progression and with the basically non existent load times to get into raids and tasks being very straight forward for the most part, its a much better game in terms of respecting your time and being able to hop in and out while still getting some form of progress.

Hunt Showdown is a game that I have absolutely fell in love with. The atmosphere is amazing, sound design is top notch, and the gameplay is solid. My biggest enjoyment of this game is how the majority of fights feel like actual fights and not just insta-dying due to the nature of the older firearms. Not saying you can't insta die, but I feel its alot less common in this game for me. Another plus for the game is weapon balance seems to be really good compared to other games, you can go into the bayou with a super low tier kit, and still come out on top. Definitely suggest giving it a shot.

Honestly for what it is, this is one of my favorite games to play if I just want to unwind and not have to think about much. Throw on some lofi tracks and chill to some fun arcade games.

Took a few month hiatus from the game even after getting a new rig to run it. Due to my personal experience i feel that they have smoothed things out alot during the past so many months. Frame rate stays more consistent, movement and vaulting feels smoother, and they added so many quality of life changes like still being able to move while healing (albeit super slow), increased loot spawns to make it less likely you won't find unusable gear, pinging items and enemies when you don't have voice to work with, crap they even added a scope to the winchester which I am happy to see. Most surprisingly of all, I see way less cheaters than i used to. At least way less people using the super obvious ones. Great Job PUBG, you earned me back as a player.
