Got an 80% coupon so decided to give it a go. For reference, I had 100+ on VT2 pre-expansions and I enjoyed that time.

First impressions when loading into Space Hulk are poor. The UI appears to still be a placeholder and has absolutely no relationship with the overall art direction of the game.

Voice acting is abysmal. Par for the course on most 40k games...

For a superhuman walking fortress, the game is incredibly weightless and detached from the action. It feels more like moving a camera around and clicking on pictures of the enemies.

I quickly looked for a multiplayer game and there were 3 lobbies. 1 was full, 1 had a weapon unlock as a prerequisite for joining, and the other had 2 players AFK.

I've requested a refund. Whether it's worth the £7 I paid is up for debate; but it's certainly not worth my time.

You pay for an early access game to help the developers realise their vision. You'd kind of expect them to release that vision before suggesting you front them some extra cash.

For anyone thinking of backing this game - wait for the full release. Who can tell how much more paid content the developers will indulge themselves with before the product you invested in will be returned.
