There have been a plethora of instances where the game WILL NOT let me lock onto enemies in the Umbral. The combat feel like you're fighting on ice, and the camera, again, is a boss fight in itself. It tries to auto-correct itself when going any way but exactly forward, which makes the tight platforming very difficult. The game also isn't optimized for anything but the best computer. I have it on the lowest settings, and my mid-range pc should be able to handle it on the lowest settings. Back to the lock-on issue, it happens with any enemy, and it makes the umbral almost impossible to go through without taking unnecessary damage, and it happens so damn often, that you can't recover.

edit: I think I've found out what's causing the lock-on issue. random little rocks, the tops of ladders, and other random rocks ALL count as full walls, but only the lock-on system seems to be effected. Rails on swinging platforms somehow don't count as full walls, so I have no idea what the hell they were thinking. And what the hell is the obsession with Sentry? Watch some live streams and see other issues that don't lead to a crash. I know that solving crashes is important, but so is the gameplay and fixing issues with the most important aspects of the game, like locking on. By the way, how come it takes about 5 full seconds after some enemies spawn in the Umbral, for me to lock onto them? they're already swinging at my face, and sometimes they can swing twice before the lock-on works

If you like being able to control your character, I wouldn't choose this game. You can be infected, and right next to a chest with the antigen, but your character takes it upon themselves to take control away from you and drink water and die. I have no idea why the devs thought taking control away from the player was a good idea, but it's absolutely infuriating when the character I'm controlling has no jobs, and still decides to take control away from me, even in a firefight. Let me control my damned character

Edit: That doesn't mean that I didn't have a lot of fun playing while I HAD control of my character.

I would wait on this title. The tutorial bugged out before it gave me any info, minus that my captain should stay in the base. I tried to get the patrol function to work, but I couldn't figure out how to stop placing patrol points. It wasn't even explained to me that I had to make the Sparrow lift off before moving it. It's a simple thing to explain to the player that it's not all automated. It also wasn't explained that I had to shut off the engine. Maybe if the tutorial worked, I would've known that. The main menu screen is almost entirely the devs trying to hype themselves up, and not having even a 10th of the screen for the actual menu. This needs some serious work, and with all of the patches, I would assume the tutorial works, but not this one.

I've put 5 hours into this game so far. I find it as an absolutely absurd amount of fun. So far, my favorite start is Scarlet with the starting pistol. The amount of different builds, in a demo, is crazy. All i ask, is let me keep playing after the finish to earn extra exp. I want to see what a fully upgraded character can do.

The game is written in an extremely suggestive and immersive manner. As a gamer, I fell in love with Neus, and her character. Please continue to work on this, and build some intensity to the story-line. Over-all, very well written and I can't wait to see more of it......What happens on the last date with Neus?
