Doesn't recognize the Steam Controller, even though a forum post from the developer in 2016 says he's putting it in the beta. If you have a Mac, enjoy launching this fifteen times before getting past the splash screen. Apparently there's a different beta for skipping that, though it launches successfully just as often.

Super fun, but it doesn't work on Macs any more. I thought I left this OS version compatibility nonsense behind when my Windows 98 games wouldn't play on XP. Telltale's bringing back the old memories, as usual.


After looking on their website, it looks like they have a habit of doing this and I can't recommend purchasing any Telltale game if you plan on ever upgrading an OS in your life, Windows or Mac.

If you're buying this game in hopes of uncovering the secret of the magic crystal (like the name implies) then you shall be sorely disappointed. They tell you RIGHT OFF THE BAT what the magic crystal does. Would not recommend for secret sleuths.
