Resident evil games after 6 are so much fun, they let you explore and get a ton of items, the map design is awesome and the it has the perfect length before it overstays it welcome like many modern games and they also have a ton of replay value. 8 in particular is a lot of fun. It may not have the non-linear map of resident evil 2 remake but it compensates by having a lot of areas and the village itself changes a lot every time you kill a main boss.
