Archwing sucked, railjack sucks even harder and hard locks you out of story content, open world gameplay is also pretty grindy as well. Story is fairly lackluster in some parts of the game, not as compelling or interesting. If you want to attract players interested in the story, do not force them to play boring and bad parts of the game because it's "necessary to advance the story". Or just make those parts actually fun and not a drag. For example, making a railjack costs a ton of resources, and even if you do manage to make one, the game play is so wonky that it's easier to kill enemies in archwing mode (which also sucks since the mods used for your archwing weapons are separate from the main mods used for ground missions). Despite me being able to one shot alot of the enemies (due to the use of a specific archwing weapon and overpowered riven for that weapon), we still struggled to deal with enemies due to how under powered the ship was. This occurred on more than one occasion and nobody could do anything, because many players had very under powered gear for archwing and railjack because it was simply not worth grinding for, due to how not fun it is. You were lucky to have found someone with a powered up ship, and even if you managed to get past the first railjack mission, the mission after that first one for advancing the story was yet another railjack mission.
On a side note, I do not agree with them going along with ESG BS. I tire of it. Make video games without putting out political statements due to it being the flavor of the month.

7/7/24 update
Holy moly the story actually gets worse as you go along, years of development went into a story that is more fever dream than actual story with more ESG sprinkled in (especially in the "Whispers in the walls quest"). Though the development of smaller hubs that are not open world is a bit of an improvement, in terms of gameplay, the story actually took a turn for the worse, and is mostly incoherent and almost nonsensical about halfway through "The New War" and beyond. If you're playing for big number simulator like I am, gameplay is the only redeeming quality (though the still game suffers greatly from power creep). If you're playing for story, there are way better games out there for this; not necessarily in the same genre, but just in general.

The spaghetti code is absurd, the devs don't fix all the bugs that would make the game run alot smoother, and the optimization is horrible. My main gripe is that easy anti cheat always fails to validate preventing me from starting up the game at all until I check the files. Fun with friends but it always pisses me off how poorly managed this game is.

Spec online say that my nvda 970m can run this game on high, but it doesn't really, and lags pretty hard. Might be because it defaults to the intel graphics driver instead of the NVDA one; with no option for the nvda graphics to be chosen.

So until then i'll have to keep my recomendation on so-so until i can actually play the game! Pretty sure it's gonna be great though! I hope.

What more to say about worlds constructed out of one's psyche. Beautiful and often times distant worlds emerge from this game, some, beautiful, others frightening. With a soundtrack that is absolutely alluring and visual eye candy with every step, this game is definitely worth the price, and its worth is only growing with time. The puzzles are also engaging as you try to open up new path ways into howards mind, but those don't come easily, and these puzzles will provide a challenge for most. (difficulty of puzzles will vary)
All in all it's a pretty good game.
