First of all: the Borderlands universe is brilliant!

Borderlands 2 was one of the first games I got into and actually felt at home in: all those uncountable missions and weapons led to a lot of laughter and tears passing by my face.
Overall I spent more than a week in BL2, mostly with my friends, killing those cute flying and annoying Rakks and felt bad for a lot of Skag puppies that had to cross over to the other side, while pieces of them were turning around on the wheels of my Catch-A-Ride vehicle.

In my opinion the game and character design is still able to be called as one of the best there is, and now with Borderlands 3 out, I am going to spent much more weeks in this world, trying to open vaults and probably also crying about yet another NPC dying, who I really took to heart during their in-game lifetime.

This is a game well worth buying, in which you'll have a lot of fun even just messing around farming animals or grinding for this one sweet shield or gun that will make your life so much easier. I personally absolutely adore the art style and since it was one of the games that introduced me to my nowadays biggest hobby, I was glad that my former graphics card (GTX 650) was able to smoothly view the game on low graphics and with those black object outlines turned off (I won't guarantee for that though ;D).

Borderlands 2 got me so hooked up on the universe that I pre-ordered BL3 with my psycho mask waiting in my cupboard to be used on the next gamescom :).

Out of a lot of videos I watched from PAX and on other occasions I am certain that gearbox put a lot of heart into this franchise and every single character like Tiny Tina, Roland, Mordecai, Krieg, Zero and Gaige, who stood out for having unique and lovable character traits!

The community is caring and likes to lend a hand with a lot of Youtube videos if you want to improve your skill-tree or learn a new way to use some glitches, like reaching places by jumping at the right time on that sweet spot next to a fountain and get catapulted to a new Boss :).

Jesper Kyd (who also is the composer of a lot of songs from the Assassin's Creed Soundtrack) once a again added rememberable and beautiful songs to all Borderlands games who I regularly enjoy listening to while I'm programming! :)

Last but not least: Thanks a million gearbox for this awesome experience that enriched my life!
