I've always loved endless games even with their crashes and bugs, with this game there's no exception

I'll start with the positive:
The game improves massively on its first one, that's pretty obvious from just watching the game-play clips, but the abilities are fun, you can choose to manually aim if you wish, or there's snap to enemy aiming for those off screen juicy kills.

They've made it more challenging, especially in hard, you can no longer dust hoard by turning off rooms as the dark room mechanic has changed, and enemies spawn from spawners, you can no longer scrap turrets, so it makes thinking and placement more meaningful, and the different enemy types force you to gear out your team differently or plan your research a lot better, and lastly the danger mechanic for every action you perform causing periodic waves make it full of action.

The negatives(sort of): You cannot upgrade in your friends saloon, slot buffs for heroes, upgrade guns etc, forcing you to go back into your saloon to do so

My friend experienced a bug in the tutorial where he killed the enemies too fast so he was stuck in tutorial(but they add a skip tutorial feature )

Me and my friend have opened a door and it crashed both our games simultaneously, but thankfully it saves right where you were at

The upgrade pickups are split so you have to go pick them up manually with your character in co-op when all other resources like scrap, food, industry, and science are shared like before(forces you to run around a map a lot(which I guess adds a small element of danger, and inconvenience

Lastly I just wish their was a compare items function where it shows your current weapon alongside the ones that drop instead of giving you green arrows for dps that aren't actually accurate. What I mean by that is sometimes your current weapon(same element does more dps but its indicating the new weapon has higher dps, when if you swap it will then also indicate your old weapon has higher)

TLDR: Overall its a great experience that expands on the original offering new challenge, and engaging game-play, but they still have some bugs to sort out, and what I think are QoL changes to be made. 8/10
