The Good: This game offers a great story that fits well in the rest of the Mafia world. It even includes a handful of characters seen in the other games. I like how the protagonist is religious and prays. It's a welcome juxtaposition to other Mafia protagonists that boast about how they don't go to church. You can add different beads and charms to your Rosary for various buffs. The boss fights are great and all involve knife fighting. With the game starting in 1904 your transportation is a horse where you eventually have the option to choose between a horse or a car as your transportation. This is the first time I've seen the Capuchin Catacombs of Palermo featured in a video game. I was stoked when I stumbled upon it during a mission.

The Bad: The game runs terribly on both of my computers that each have decent graphics cards. The game was always choppy and assets were blurry. In the last mission there are a lot of visual effects that almost made the game unbeatable by how horribly it ran.

I remember playing this when it was freeware way back in the day. I just now got around to playing this version. This game lives up to the potential the freeware version posed. The game is short, but appropriate for this style of game.

You'll often find yourself solving a problem by creating an entirely new problem.

Can't access this content, because the game doesn't even work a day after the update. Will be requesting a refund. My tolerance for Bethesda's incompetence has run out.

Free virtual museum. Some of the pieces were genuinely interested to look at.

Game won't start without being connected to the internet. Get rid of the EA launcher. Especially after the new acquisition. Stop requiring players to create accounts for third party launchers when selling games on steam. I only got this because it was on sale for $5. I already have these games on steam and my high praise (except Mass Effect 3 ending) reviews of this game series still stand.

This game isn't the improvement I had hoped for. It changed very little. The "improved skin rendering" in the trailer actually looks worse. I got the impression the character building and weapon systems would be condensed to being the same in every game, but no. This is pretty much just a game port. The game flaws have still never been fixed. In Mass Effect 1 the M35 Mako still gets stuck on random things and you have to reload to an earlier game or return to the Normandy. At some points there are LESS options than the original games. In the original Mass Effect 2 you could modify your imported character's appearance. They removed that feature and now you have to manually type in your ME 1 character's appearance code if you want to fix the messed up eye brows imported characters get or start from scratch.
