Similar to many others, the boredom came extremely quick. Despite finding the combat somewhat exciting and fun, there were an abundant amount of issues that I came across even within the first hour of playing.

Things that bothered me:
-Long, boring dialogue. You have to wait for the person you are interacting with to talk, and then listen to the narrator explain what you just heard, and repeat. I find it to be a complete waste of time. Not to mention, there are too many instances where you can't skip and are forced to watch/listen
-Too many tooltips that stop your gameplay and force you to press SPACE to continue. This completely breaks any kind of immersion you have at that very moment
-It feels awfully restrictive for an "open-world" game
-At times, the graphics looks like somebody tried really hard to use blur and saturation to revive textures from 2008 (I mean look at those cutscenes)

I honestly don't think it's worth the current price tag of $60. It definitely feels like there were too many ambitious ideas which left the foundations lacking... Hopefully, future updates will change my mind. But until then, I think I am going to sit on the sidelines and monitor the reviews.

Early Access Review
I find it extremely enjoyable to test my RNG and see what kind of builds I end up with in every run. There's also nothing better than experiencing one of the many ridiculously op builds and melting through every single enemy. There is a lot of replayability due to different guns with different stat rolls, different buffs, and different characters that can generally be built 2-3 ways (e.g. focusing on leap build instead of cleave build for the kung fu bird). You also experience progression as you repeat the runs since you can save up the souls you get after each run to unlock permanent upgrades, which prevents that feeling of losing everything or gaining nothing after you win/lose.

The devs have been constantly pushing out updates with bug fixes and more content. The game keeps improving and I personally think it's worth the small price tag.

As usual, any game is more fun with friends, and this is no exception. Grab a few friends if you can and try it out!

Although this is meant to be a fun and casual brawl between friends, you'd be surprised at how quick your friends are to ♥♥♥♥ on you.

10/10: Would ♥♥♥♥ on friends again

Borderlands 2 is really great! I give it 8/10.

In my opinion, it's really fun to play with your friends. Playing by yourself could get really boring. The thing is, Borderlands 2 is meant to have the story played through several times to unlock harder gamemodes (i.e. True Vault Hunter Mode, Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode). If you don't find having to repeat the story over a few times, you should give this game a try. To me, the thing I enjoy to do the most is hunting for the best items in the game with my friends. The grinding is real (if you choose not to ruin the fun and duplicate) but having friends will make it more enjoyable. Borderlands 2's story is packed with humor and deception, causing you to become immersed in the story as well as the gameplay. Overall, I really recommend this game if you would like to grind alongside your friends.
