This is going to sound *awful*, but I assume most-to-all of my Facebook friends are in a similar boat, so I'm talking about 'us' not just 'me'. Does anybody else get sick of being in the top percentiles for intelligence and 'competence'? I'm sure I can or could do 80% of things better than 80% of people. That means I go through life surrounded by and relying on people who are less capable than I would be in their shoes - plumbers, shop workers, managers, voters, you name it. I read things I could write better, watch things I could make better, eat food in restaurants I could cook better, served by waiters I could wait better than. I had a go at some wood-work last year and on my first visit to Homebase I already knew more about wood than basically anyone in the store. Which is a low bar, but then 80% of humanity is a low bar.

As someone who is an atheist who studies euphoria, I am telling you, specifically, in atheism, no one calls trilbys fedoras. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you should too. They're not the same thing.
