Counter Strike Global Offensive, a game that has had many changes since its inception, an idea of ​​expansion and a game of last generation after the classic Counter Strike, a marvel of initiative.

I want to base my review on the good and bad things about this game in a complete summary of each category:

Pros:

When you start playing this game you realize that maybe it is not the game you expected, more demanding, more difficult, more complex to understand in its advanced mechanics and almost impossible to master at a competitive level, but after that feeling you realize that there is a great opportunity to be able to OBSERVE AND MEASURE your progress and your improvement based on being playing methodically.

I say this because I see as a PRO that the player can understand and feel that is improving and is becoming more skillful with the title, many video games nowadays or you stay stuck or you understand the game and its mechanics in less than a week.

CS: GO has one of the most simple and easy to understand mechanics of all the shooters I've tried, that does not mean it's a simple title, on the contrary, simple mechanics, madness mastery, the time it takes to capture , understand and improve your skill level understanding these mechanics, they become hours, days, months and even years of play, is a game that as I said at the beginning is demanding in its simplest expression and that makes it a game that must have expertise and passion to devote our attention and improve as videojuegadores.

In the topic of experience as players, we can say that the game has a graphic engine of the oldest and outdated, but many times you realize (at a fairly high level) that each game and encounter is a different world, new strategies, rotations and decisions of the last moment make this title a game worthy to take more into account its gameplay and experience than its optimization and performance, CS: GO is for me a blank canvas for each meeting.

Taking the subject of the contents and the items that it handles, there is a theory and a complete jargon of how it is that the skins, floats, ST Skins, knives and others play a very important role in this game, this can be taken as a pro and a counter at the same time as it generates waste in the process that can affect the community for the worse, but focusing on the freshness it offers to the game, in short it is a point in its favor since it adds color, life and focus to a game that can be as gray many times.

Cons:

Counter Strike Global Offensive has several points to endow with a bad qualification, among them the world of the skins. The supply and demand that exists with these virtual objects has reached a level that has affected the society of CS: GO in a negative way, from children without experience paying absurd amounts of money with their parents' cards for aesthetic items, even bets for millionaire values ​​and many of them ending in depression and a global cancer for this title.

Being a competitive game, there are communities of different styles, unfortunately at low and intermediate levels the community is quite toxic, not wanting to learn or improve and above all without wanting to accept mistakes and criticism from other players, there is the problem, it is a chain that is generating increasingly larger links that invade games of players who really intend to improve.

The optimization and the way in which the game takes advantage of our equipment is really doubtful, as I said before, its graphical and logical engine is extremely old, which means it has quite strong performance and stability problems.

Finally the issue of VALVE, this developer of HalfLife, Steam, CS: GO among other titles, has focused on MONEY and not on quality, there is a very true saying, QUALITY before QUANTITY and I think CS: GO has broken this sacred principle, the amount of skins that are sold and that come to light every year is scary, this generates a lot of money directly for VALVE but the question is where are the improvements? Where is the ANTI-CHEAT? Where is that quality that we are looking for? These are questions that VALVE has to ask because if this continues, in a few years I can almost sign that it will be the death sentence for Counter Strike Global Offensive.
