I decided to go in on this game after seeing that they updated a lot about it, but the game is unfortunately still a buggy mess. Zombies A-posing after you kill them, not being able to equip weapons after using a bandage, and zombies hitting you whenever you're behind them are bugs I encountered in only 15 minutes of gameplay. On the non-bug side of things there are still a ton of issues that need to be addressed. Hits still feel like they have no impact behind them, you can't hold a heavy attack like in NMRiH 1, and medkits take a fraction of the amount of time they did in the first game. I have no clue why they made all of these changes to the formula of the first one when they could've just released the same game with better graphics and I would be happy. I really had high hopes, but unless they do something major, I'm going to avoid it and you should too.

really fun, kinda like binding of isaac and gungeon, gameplay plus some super adorable animal cultists that you can manage and make do your bidding around camp. the way these two gameplay loops are connected is really fun and interesting

The destruction is good, but the multiplayer, which I hoped was going to be me and a friend going around destroying stuff, was garbage. It's a bunch of game modes that are only fun with large groups, and no one plays this game anymore. I already beat this game on the Xbox so why would I want to play the story again. What's the point, I returned this as quick as I bought it

Holy crap is this game captivating. I remember my horrible experiences of this game and the lag and dastardly graphics on the Xbox version, but this is something so different. The game (if you have a good computer and tweak the settings) runs perfectly fine, and looks good. The gameplay is awesome, and I have a newfound love for this game. Taming my own dinosaurs, exploring caves, progressing to the electrical age and beyond, and many more things really dragged me in to love this game even further. I highly recommend this game if you have tons of time to waste sitting around (because that's what summer is for, right?) since you will get lost in this land. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is on the fence, and the game is on sale (as of now on the summer sale) so why not? By the way, I highly suggest playing on the new Valguero map; it's awesomely designed and adds tons of cool caves and ♥♥♥♥ so check it out
