Great game with a memorable story and well written characters. Enjoyable from start to finish. All gamers should give it a try even if they don't usually enjoy the genre.

This game is great! If you liked Banished but you felt like at a point you weren't pushed to advance any more well this is Banished on Steroids! It has Tech to unlock and all the great stuff.

The graphics are fitting and i think timeless imho.

The sounds design is minimal and the only thing i felt lacking. After one hour I muted the music and let youtube do it on the background as it's a little repetitive but it can be fixed just by adding more music so it doesn't repeat.

Overall this is not an Early Access game or it doesn't feel like one. This only makes me happy as it means it will evolve even more in time. But if it doesn't I wouldn't be sad i bought it for sure.

So get it play it love it!

Update: Still loving it!

Firewatch is a masterpiece of a game. But it's not a masterpiece in its game mechanics. You shouldn't buy this game for the gameplay, but for it's art style, music, sound design and great story for a relaxing weekend.

Graphically it's gorgeous, and it will be timeless gorgeous. From my perspective it's not a technical marvel but a artistic marvel. The way it manages light and colors is genius. The whole experience is like walking through a painting.

Sound design is also a strong point in my opinion. From the great music that helps set the tone and atmosphere to the little sounds of the woods and environment. The voice recordings are also great and actors.

Gameplay is clearly the lowest point of the game as it tends to be a walking simulator spiced with take item from A and get it to B while guided. The only mechanic i found nice from every point is the map and compass. With the art style that is has and the strong points, the addition of a map and compass compared to some HUD is a great and helps the immersion.

The story, in my opinion is also a strong point. It's not some grand story but a cute little thing that helps the setting and has a driving force for the player. Don't expect some action movie or big drama or something. I would describe it as a snippet from the life of a person. Not a grand beginning and not a grand end with huge consequences or changes, just a point in life of a man. I do need to say that the little environmental stories are also nice even if there is no interaction of them with the main story.

Overall, yes, buy this game. But don't expect what it isn't. If you want to explore the places you saw in posters and screenshots go ahead. Otherwise if you expect a big and dramatic game with action maybe it isn't for you. Also take into consideration that it took me 4-5 hours to finish the game with all achievements.

Risk of rain 2 is a fun game, reminds me of some old arcade shooters. It is an interesting mix, some Serious Sam arcade action plus some rouge-like plus RPG from the items and it ends up really fun and entertaining. It does make the mistake with items where basically a run is determined more by items than you, so if you are lucky you will either be overpowered or you will die but this is also fun if you like the idea.

Graphically it looks nice, and it's artstyle is striking, plus you won't have problems running it. Overall it looks good, it's functional, it runs well and it's unique.

Music and Sounds are again nice, well made, but honestly i didn't find anything striking. No song remained in my head or made me go and listen to it outside the game. This might be a good thing as well, if it was something notable it might get repetitive.

Overall this game is really good and you should play it. It will get a few hours out of you and you won't regret the time with it. If you play with friends it will be even more fun. Just keep it mind that a bit of luck will be involved without any artifacts (run modifiers). And it will be hard, it's not a forgiving game, but it's fun all the way.

I didn't play the original on the time of release and my first interaction with this game was now with this remake. I do feel as this must be noted as i don't have any reference point.

Destroy all humans is a great game from another time with a face lift. It's luck is that in the period when it was originally released this type of adventure-arcade game got to a maturity. It's a refined game and got more refined now with the remaster. Compared to CnC Remaster that is a new face and many updates to a pioneer of the genre here the game didn't need that much so a new look did the thing.

Gameplay wise the game is fun. I enjoyed every minute with it, it's pacing is good most of the time and the humor helps. It's not a hard game, the only point i died a few times was in the last bosses. It was after all born in 2005 when this type of games got to their best. My only recommendation for anyone is to take your time and do some of the challenges in between game story missions. It will make easier especially in the last part of the game.

Graphically it looks really good. It's not some masterpiece but it's a face lift to a game from 2005 in unreal engine. What i must appreciate is the fact that it runs really smooth. I didn't experience drops or low fps or glitches or any other inconvenience. It's nicely modeled and the environments are well made and look good but it's not any visual journey.

Sound it again good it sounds good, it sets the mood, helps the game to be there. Some voice recordings are a bit lacking but there is no end of the world. It's not like it was recorded on Edison wax cylinder, it's just a little gritty here and there.

The thing that it hold all together is the Story. If it wasn't for the story this remaster wouldn't have been made and the original would have been forgotten by everyone. It's great, it's fun, and it's from 2005. You do need to take into consideration the time of release. Even though, some jokes, even for 2005 are a bit bad. But the setting and characters make it all go well. You are an angry, racist, misogynistic little *not green* man.
Really, before getting angry on it take it as a cartoon and have fun, don't take any of it personal.

Overall I do recommend Destroy all Humans it's a good remake, it's a good game, it has a great story and characters and it's fun. It's not too long, it's not too short it's just right. I finished it in about 10 hours just when i was starting to feel a little grind for the upgrades. So go and play and enjoy this great game.

Tooth and tail is a great minimal RTS. I say minimal because most of the mechanics are simplified. It was clear that it was made with a controller in mind but compared to other RTSs made like this, Tooth and tail doesn't try to keep all the features from a standard RTS and makes the experience fun.
If you are looking for a deep RTS with many strategies like Starcraft or others this game is not for you. I'm my opinion this RTS is for casual players that want to have some fun with their friends that aren't so RTS experienced. It's easy to learn and not so hard to master it's mechanics so it makes a really good party game.

Graphicaly it is gorgeous, it's pixel art is great and the portraits are a really great addition. The portraits feel like the "live feed" from Starcraft units, bringing a bit of personality to the units where the pixels couldn't do. And overall the looks are functional and pleasant to look at.

Sounds and Music are also good, functionally they do their job and expands the atmosphere. I didn't feel like they are something to remember but it does add up to the experience.

Gameplay is as I said a simplified RTS with a controller in mind so this limits the possibility of strategies but it make up into some fast paced action. The devs really did manage to make up for the lack of input.

I cannot find any lacking point for it honestly because when you look at this game you should start from the idea that it isn't fighting with command and conquer or Starcraft and it's in a different league. It's a casual game for someone that want to play an RTS with some friends that aren't into them or play something local on the TV and have fun, or just chill in the living room.

The last notable point is the story because it does have a single player campaign and as well it's a pleasant experience, it's fun and interesting. Maybe not a grand story with notable characters but the missions are fun, some are a little challenging and the in-between hub is full of nice snippets of story.

Overall it do recommend this game but don't get into it expecting to find a classic RTS experience and take it for what it is not what it isn't. This game is also great for people that enjoy RTSs but not the competitive environment that comes with many RTSs.

Rise of Industry is a great game with some flaws. I went bankrupt two times first, after about 2 more tries i bought all my competition. So if you get this game, maybe it's better to experiment and try different approaches. After all it is a game and maybe the best part of it is to interact with it's mechanics.

The graphics are gorgeous, minimalist and practical. If you ask me this type of art style is great for this type of game as you need usefulness more than effects and so on. It does it's job and excels at it so it's more that you can ask. Plus in my experience the game runs really well, the only moments it got stuck for a few seconds are when it was saving.

Sound design is also really well done in the same style as the rest of the game, its more useful nature helps a lot and it is pleasing to hear it for the whole game.

Gameplay wise is where it shines and also has it's flaws. The basic principle of the game is offer and demand. You need to supply cities with good as the city demands them and help it grow as it will demand better more expensive goods. The city might also help you in need or hurt your business if you neglect or pollute it so there is a nice interaction there.
Another mechanic that i found nice are the permits. You cannot build you industry anywhere on the map as the city must give you the permit to build but you can make warehouses everywhere and manage your logistics from there so you can sell your products. Products are organised in Raw and tiers from 1 to 3 and the higher the tier the more profit will make and also the more lower tier products will be needed to make it.

The flaws that is has at least in my experience are firstly the start of the game where usually i get at least one bankruptcy loan to continue and loans can really kill you in this game as you need to pay it monthly and in the early game it can take a lot of your income that you would otherwise use for research. But it is manageable and part of the experience otherwise.
After that you start evolving, but at one point you either get overwhelmed or you expand on the same tier and base yourself on quantity over quality. This is possible because if you don't provide to your city it won't evolve and the demand for better goods won't be there.

Overall this is a greatly enjoyable game that i can see getting hours and hours of gameplay into. It's fun and satisfying and when you manage to buy another company and get into making the logistics of the newly acquired assets it's a lot of fun if you enjoy this kind of things.

If you like OpenTTD and other tycoon type of games get this game. If you are a master in this kind of games you will get into it easy. If you are a newcomer and like the idea of a tycoon game but you always found them too hard and ugly you should also get this game because i can see it as an entry point in the genre.

Children of Morta is a great game. Gorgeous graphics and especially gorgeous as it's not a technical marvel but a artistic marvel. The pixel art is great and it's a pleasure to look at every time you open the game from the Manor to every environment and character. It is especially great because while everything has a lot of detail you can still see with ease what you want and keep track of it on the screen.

Music and Sounds are again really good. The Narrator is a great addition and sets the theme and feel of the game, is it wasn't for him i think the whole game wouldn't have had this great atmosphere. The attacks feel good and are helped a lot by the sound.

Maybe where this game is lacking is in it's pacing you cannot skip (or as far as I know) the animation towards the manor, or you can't get right back in the action after you die. I understand that this is made for the story to unravel but at some point it get's a little tiresome. Also the fact that you need to level up all the characters to get some abilities slows things down. Again i understand form the point of the game and design but it get's slow especially when you are a bit angry that you can't get past a point.

Maybe one of the things that will make you stop playing this game is the point where you realize that it falls for the mistake of many rouge likes from this time where if you have a run with many stacking abilities and you have luck in your drops you will advance. You can be strategic and slow and take care with your every move but for many players it will be down to the stacks.

Overall i do recommend this game, 100%. It is a gem you will have fun and you will enjoy the time with it and the devs are updating the game and adding more stuff so who knows maybe they do make a skip manor button or get back in action.
If you ask me you should get this game you won't regret it. I do know that if you are reading this you aren't so sure about spending the money so if you ask me go for it.
