My point is that only a quarter of the people you think are trolling are actually trying to troll you. A good amount of them are just dumb. The late 2010s ushered in some sort of shift where people went from using the excuse of trolling as plausible deniability to calling everyone you disagreed with a troll in order to make their viewpoints seem less valid.
