Awesome game! One of my new favorites.

Nice visuals. Great sounds and great soundtrack! The audiobook is a great compliment to the game and fits nicely while playing.

The story is simple on the surface, you blow stuff up for money, but is full of flavor for those that are willing to uncover it.

My only real complaints is that it feels like its missing some simple options that would make the game even better. Had to look up how to manually add a deadzone for Xbone controller, that was fairly annoying but pretty simple fix and is just a silly problem that for some reason was never fixed. You also have to dig into the game files to find the soundtrack and audiobook dlc, kinda odd they wouldn't make those more accessible.

Great game to pick up on sale!

I am not a wrestling fan and haven't played many wrestling games but I played for a while during a free weekend because why not.

Was pretty fun and the level of customization is nuts! Plenty of awesome characters to download from workshop. Everything from real life wrestlers to fantasy characters with movesets that match surprisingly well. You can customize referees and the ring as well and can even add in your own pictures and music to use.

I really like the reto graphics combined with minimal hud during gameplay. There are no annoying/confusing bars or meters and no flashing "Press (x) now to win!" type of gameplay. It can be kind of confusing at first but the manual does a good job explaining the controls and most are fairly intuitive and pretty easy to figure out. Gamepad recommended.

The only real cons to this game imo are that the price is a bit steep (I recommend getting it on sale) and the game starts with Japanese as the default language (there is a simple guide to switch to English on the community guides page.)

All in all if you like retro style wrestling games with a high level of customization and don't mind doing a bit of reading to learn how to play a game then this is a good choice for you if you get it on sale.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. After getting over the silly and simplistic look (especially the ridiculous character models) I was pleased to find that the gameplay mechanics are fairly well done. The shooting, driving, flying, building, crafting, and just the overall feel of the game is really well done. Although there are some flaws here and there this is most definitely one of the best free games I have played. It's also hands down the best free open world survival games around.
