I honestly couldn't care less about a developers personal political/social views.

Regardless, there is a certain lack of professionalism and jackassery that is just simply not acceptable in my opinion and this developer has crossed that line a few to many times.

If I could just refund this game I would, since I can't I will just leave a negative review and not recommend the game. Simple as that.

It was funny though, hope it was worth it I guess.

Apologies to the dev for not leaving a review until now.

After 1000+ hours this is still one of my favorite games. I have not uninstalled it once since I bought it and it is THE game I keep going back to every few months. If I could only have access to 5 games in my library RimWorld would probably be the first game I would choose to keep.

The game is great, the modding community is awesome, the soundtrack fuels my life.

20/10 would (and probably will) harvest prisoner organs to fund my drug fueled colony again.

Game used to be fun, now its just broken garbage.

Game is really enjoyable and the amount of customization makes it even better. Can customize your guild members and there are many difficulty settings that allows you to tailor gameplay to your liking. I also really enjoy the art style. Looks unique without being distracting or cluttered yet simple without being bland and boring.

My only real complaint is the resolution scaling is a bit harsh. On a smaller screen you have a choice between zoomed in and hard to see the battlefield or zoomed out to see the battlefield and everything is pixelated. Wouldn't be as bad if there was a way to quickly zoom in and out without having to enter the menu.

Overall I am looking forward to playing this a good amount.

**UPDATED REVIEW**

I originally gave this a negative review as there was a massive memory leak causing the game to not run most of the time or run like complete garbage. THIS HAS BEEN FIXED! So I am keeping my word and changing this review.

After today's update the game now runs pretty smoothly on my low end pc and is way more in line to the experience I had with the free demo, which I loved and led me to buy the game. Some of the missions seem to still have some memory issues but for the most part it seems the game is at least playable now and I'm loving it.

My only real criticisms at this point are that the lock on system is a bit weird and can cause your mech to flip around in awkward ways while in close combat. Also, there is no option to rebind controller buttons, you get three layouts to choose from but thats it. Everything else is just small quirks typical in any early access game such as a few balance issues and some content (missions) feeling not complete/polished.

Some may find this game to be too simplistic but honestly I think that is a strong point. I don't need hundreds of parts and dozens of stats to keep track of. I just want enough customization, parts, and weapons to make a few mechs that feel like my own. Sometimes less is more and that is what this game has IMO.

Thank you devs for fixing the memory issue! I am super stoked to be able to play this game now and hope you continue to make the game even better!
