In short: If you like any one or multiple of the following subjects, you should definitely buy the game!

Space, Spaceships, Building, Management, Strategy, Science Fiction, Space Simulation, Pixelart.

And heres the long answer:

I've randomly stumbled upon a game called "StarWright" in 2015, eversince then I've been following it's development, as you may have guessed, the name was changed to Cosmoteer along the way. I was looking for a game that allowed me to build my very own space ships, without being overly complicated or taxing on my computer, so when I found out about Cosmoteer I was positively delighted to say the least.

Cosmoteer has everything that 14 year old me could have ever dreamed of (even if its now 2022 and im 21) and enough complexity to keep it interresting, while not being too complex - the learning curve is steep but very, very short, thats a luxury that other space simulators dont give you, they usually have a steep AND long learning curve at the same time.

The controls are very intuitive if you're not new to video games in general, and the (updated) graphics are wonderful!

Cosmoteer is also highly and easily modable, and now that the steam workshop has been implemented, it's gotten easier than ever to try other peoples mods too. If you like sci-fi, please just do yourself a favour and buy the game :-)

(For fairness sake I should probably mention that I was heavily involved in sort of getting the game "out there" - messaging youtubers like Deluks Gaming among others, to get them to try it out among other things. I was also a beta tester.)

You like cars? Good. You like driving? Great. You enjoy watching realistic crashes? Perfect.

I honestly recommend this game to anyone who's into cars, motorsport or driving of any sort. It can be used as a hardcore sim racer, or as a police chase simulator, or a arcade race game, or a crash test simulator, or hey you can even tune cars, customize everything about them, especially with the many great mods. So even tuners should have a hell of a time. Oh and before I forget, do you like offroading? You can do that too, the physics are great. Just try it, you won't regret it.

Great graphics, great story and great sound design. Everything you'd want in a game like this. If you can enjoy a nice story, then this game is most definitely for you, as long as you don't mind the story being quite sad and emotional.

Probably the best game 2016, I learned a few weeks ago that theres a new one omming, if its as good as this one, its gonna be great. If you are looking for gore and lots of dead demons then this is teh game for you.

They have perfected every aspect of Transport Fever, and the updated graphics are just stunning!

To make it short: Everyone should at least have tried this game at some point in their life. I know It's not agame for everyone, but hey its free and maybe you'll like it!

Before I start, I think I should mention that I was part of the testing-team, just for clarification. I have to say that the game is really good for what it is, sure the visuals may not be the best you've ever seen but the story and gameplay make more than up for it, I recommend it if you enjoy a good story. After testing, we did in fact not get to keep the game, but nonetheless I literally just bought it, which goes to show how much I enjoyed it. :)
