Its a great game for the pirate adventure genre, i enjoy it and im patient with its shenanigans, its Ark Survival Pirate addition, will i say its perfect? no... it has alot of issues and glitches true... BUT if you play solo or with friends on your own server or coop game, its pretty damn good, would i play PvP again?... NO, its too unforgiving to do that, and its really difficult if you plan to protect your ship, id say it would be wise to play solo or coop, unofficial can be fun, so long as the community is nice, but finding one is the struggle. GL

I would highly recommend this game pros and cons below.

Pros
1 gameplay is amazing and fun having a blast with hunting trading and bounty hunting. (in my opinion some of the best parts of the game)
2 The graphics are pretty good.
3 Controls are amazing and simple even on controller.

Cons
1 character creation could be better.
2 camps spawn at random areas when you set em up, roughly in a large area you pick, but no concrete way of saying where...
3 HACKERS! this is the biggest issue (hopefully it gets fixed SOON) sometimes a random session join can have a hacker in it or multiple... i got transforned into a wall within my first 5 hours of gameplay... and each session can have a hacker "not all of em" that can make you explode endlessly till you die of fall damage, get a bounty on your head for doing nothing but standing still, or even get random law enforcement or some other NPC to hunt you and kill you for doing nothing...

Note: its a great game, love the feel its amazing to get lost in until a hacker joins the session, then its just hell... i recommend this game but be prepared to fully exit the game and start it back up to join a new session if your current one has a hacker in it.

This game has been a passion of mine for years.

Pros

1. Its a game where i can play any kind of style i want and with mods that increases that further.
I can play primitive like a caveman i can play medieval or modern or futuristic.
The game has limitless potential you can host your own server with mods to make a unique and interesting experience for yourself and others making the game into something truely unique and not even ark.

2. You can to some extent advertise and monetize your server you host and own. Now for the downsides that sometimes discourage players and with good reason...

Cons

1. There is occasional issues of dinos getting stuck in foundations and getting stuck in places that wouldnt seem like they could and to an extent that has been fixed with the ability of cryopods. But there is also the issue of them falling through the world :/ that is an issue that is very annoying and sometimes unbearable.

2. Occasional crash from time to time. i really dont get em anymore but still shows up for some people if their computer isnt got the right requirements and also mod related sometimes it can be a hassle for those people.

3. Toxic community on official servers most the time usually higher population the worse it is.

4. Tons of time invested and can be lost in just a few moments if attacked by people and some creatures. It can be a bit difficult to recover sometimes and with dominating tribes like "alpha tribes / mega tribes" you sometimes will feel bullied with no way of countering em etc. But that is a issue many folks experience even on official and unofficial servers there are some unofficial servers that are chill and friendly.

Overall review.
Me personally i love this game more than any other ive played. More than conan exiles more than archeage more than skyrim and fallout 4 etc. I have hosted a server cluster for over 2 years now if you wanna know which one it is look up GXD adventure servers we have a website i wont post link to because i dont wish to be in trouble,

And i can honestly say that i dont plan to quit anytime soon. I have 6000+ hours logged and growing and every year i find myself impressed by the content the mods etc that is being added on pretty much a daily basis. I would give this game a 5/5 stars rating its worth every penny spent on it in my opinion but it is not for everybody.

I wish anybody who gets this game luck if they play official or unofficial servers it can be rough. Anyways i wish you all a happy halloween! :D
