I love the game, attention to detail, and most importantly the new maps themselves too much to consider a negative review.

Sure there is some funny stuff. The maps can't be played in commander mode. But that mode is kinda awful to begin with, and I can't immagine it wont work in the future. I may also be in a luxurious position. Performance, load times, and crashes are great/missing for me. Important; the video settings reset for me. While in my case that made everything uglier, it may make things run terrible for you.

There is too much passion for an old SWAT 3/4 fan to be salty over 10€, and since people without the DLC can join multiplayer lobby's this deserves the recommendation. I really feel like this is an amazing way to approach the DLC.

I don't know what to say.

I didn't speak up when I saw it happening to others, and now it happened to me.

Just can't play the game. Anything else I play works fine since my PC upgrade, but this game is now unplayable.

It is really good, even the co-op. But further words of praise will only come once I get the game running again.

A stunning game. Even better in co-op with friends. Random people online tend to be great fun too.

It is funny, intense, beautifull. It has it all.

I am extremely against live service and FOMO games, and I am still scared of what the devs will do. But the game is just too much fun to care about all that stuff.

Only weird ass thing is that whenever I play it, it swaps to my cyrillic keyboard and I am forced to voice chat. Which is only better for democracy.

It scratches so many itches I never knew I had. I am so bad at it, and yet I love playing it so much.

I am in love with it, and while I could go into depth the fact that you are here reading reviews means you must have the same itch that I had before buying it.

You can easily test out the gameplay for free in the "story" release.

I only want to add that you can feel the passion in the project and story. And finally I noticed reviews complaining about the new UI, but I think it is great and may even be an improvement (although I didn't play with the old one, but I did see it being used).

Are you done with train sim world releasing again and again, but buggier and pricier? Tried to find that train game that offers a decent career mode?

Look no further.

Sure lots of things don't have the depth you want and controlling it was done from a VR standpoint, but the devs actually put some love into it. The impact of driving a freight train is there. And the depth of the simulation gets increased with most of the updates.


And perhaps the dirtiest thing: I bought it once I got my VR headset. But now I mostly play it outside of VR. Sure it is great fun in VR. But for my regular quick train driving needs, this has also become my go to choice.

3:More positives recently, good maps more attention. Upgrades are slow but we are getting somewhere. I dare even say I am having fun more often than not.

2:servers are still bad, but they work. Purple armour really saved the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game though. Blue armour is for plebes.

1:Imagine wanting to play solo, but can't since the servers are ♥♥♥♥. What a joke.

I'm not at all an idiot for buying the grand edition trust me.

In all fairness the songs are actually good and really suit the game. With the 1.2 beta features implemented they are soothing and exciting to listen to.

If only the profile features weren't limited

Oh boy how much I wished this worked.

It has the entire management and economy part of popular sims like euro truck, bus games, and even flight sims (albeit with addons).

The tutorial worked great for me and set my expectations. The simulator part definitely feels a bit off, but having so many areas in Europe to explore and actually use long sets of rail unlike TSW I was willing to move on.

And while there is so much to be excited about to make it fun to play, I am just incapable of playing. As soon as the tutorial ended I quit and played again the next day. My employee and progress that I thought I could keep from the tutorial was gone. Fair enough, a bit annoying but not the end of the world. I took a job in the city next to me since nothing was being produced in mine. Trying to get there was a disaster.

Whether I turn my graphics down or not, after a few kilometres the world stops loading in properly. It starts slowly with some objects not being loaded in and devolves into the ground missing and textures glitching onto the track. A short while after my distance to target stops updating, and finally. THE TRACKS DISAPPEAR. This instantly stops the train and now you have to go back to the main menu and force the game to load everything back in.

This happens so often that I can't be bothered anymore. Wonky physics can be forgiven for the management part I'm really excited about. But it seems that missing railway tracks is my limit (shocking I know).

I really want it to be good and I'll do some more adjusting on my end. But for now I've sadly used my frustration here. So really, if you skip the tutorial and have a go at moving between cities and your tracks wont disappear. You will have a great time I bet. If you run into the same ♥♥♥♥ as me, hit the refund before bothering any further.
