I want to be friends with a woman I met while in the psych ward but my wife is against me having ANY female friends. Anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any way I can talk sense into her? I've already assured her its completely platonic. This really sucks because she is such an awesome friend, and I feel more comfortable around women and have always wanted a female friend.
