Challenges being the only way to level up is terrible and a dev on stream just double downed on it. I never want to play stealth and I like using a small number of weapons so I'm doomed to have my progression in limbo.

I relived the first time my younger self played Silent Hill 2 and Resident Evil 1 remake; combined with the anime addiction I got growing up and thrown into the aesthetic of Alien.

I don't usually write Steam reviews, but this game deserves to be played.

Edit: While crafting is still a chore and leveling is kinda dull, the game is way more feature-complete and functional than launch. Now that Fatshark has finished the console port, it can only go up from here.

One awful launch is understandable, but Vermintide 1 ended in a great state.
A second awful launch is bad, but Vermintide 2 remains my favorite game ever made next to Vermintide 1.
A third awful launch with design choices several magnitudes worse than both previous games is inexcusable.

This game will probably be wonderful two years from now.
