This game has a lot of potential. But starting off can be rough on the first day if you don't know the mechanics of the game.

There probably should be a tutorial explaining how to sleep/save/status effects of health/hunger/thirst/cold.

Putting all that aside it's been a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing how they plan on expanding this game. Other than some small (non game breaking) bugs, it's pretty addictive.

Though, not being able to make it past day 1/2 in the start of the game might turn some people off. It took me awhile before I figured out how to sleep on the couch. It wasn't exactly obvious that I needed a fire, but once I figured that out it became more reasonable.

I'd like to see a few small changes, but other than that I say pull the trigger, dive on in and have fun!

If you need help getting past the first day or two, I'll link my video down below!

So I was really curious about this game, sadly the developer got a little excited and released this game way too early.

The game has no enemies, no options menu, no way to exit the game or instructions.
Once you chop down some trees that fall and then spaz out due to some crazy physics all you can do is access a build menu that let's you create some walls, steps, floor, door, base and I couldn't use the floor as a ceiling like it suggested.

The game has at least a 30 minute night cycle making it almost impossible to do anything, much less see.
There is a flashlight in the house in the woods, but I can't figure out how to use it even after spamming every button on the keyboard.

The wall to the house in the woods on the backside is glitched so be careful because it's only invisible one way, you will get stuck in it.

There are 2 vehicles outside the train building (closed warehouse) and I couldn't figure out how to use it till about an 20 minutes later. Most objects in the game can be flung by dragging and releasing them resulting in super human strength and the ability to chuck a vehicle with your hand, mildly entertaining till it's not.

You can take the car and drive down each end of the road (1 road) the side closest to spawn takes you to the edge of the map where there is nothing. You can keep driving at what feels like 500 miles per hour till you hit a map border that you slam into.

If you can make it back to the road you left, and head in the opposite direction and follow the railroad track you'll find a winding road that goes again to no where.

At the end of the rail road track is a part of a train that seems to run on it's own for a short distance. You can't operate it so that's a shame.

There's food in the game but no way to eat it.

There's nothing to kill.

So there really isn't a whole lot to comment on. This seems like a tech demo or a project someone is playing around with.
I couldn't honestly suggest someone buy this game even at the low price and state that it's in.

To be honest it's priced way too high.

There's a few other level design issues, and other things but I've said enough for now.
I hope the developer keeps working on the project and maybe some day it will be more than a testing ground for ideas.

I did snoop around the files of the game and noticed that the game has config files for VR even though it's not listed. I considered trying to boot up in my Rift S but honestly, at this point I was sick of playing around in it - maybe later.

I recorded a video in the attempt to upload it to youtube, but I'm not sure if I'm going to yet. Not much to show.

TLDR: Expensive tech demo with not much of anything to do, that costs way too much.

I wasn't sure what I was getting into as I've only seen videos of "Five Nights at Freddy's" but I knew this game would be similar.

You are a security guard at a College on his first day. The start of the game gives a little backstory into what seems to be a horrific fire that burnt down his family house. I'm curious to find out more about that, but I haven't made it that far yet.

You are informed of some creepy and violent things that have been happening in the college at night, but told "Not to worry" as the school is on lockdown.

I've never been a huge fan of creepy dolls and this game has definitely reinforced that.

BTW thanks, I spilled coffee all over myself from that stupid Jester...... lol

This game is pretty cool, it doesn't have power restrictions like 5 nights and the graphics are a little bit better.
It still uses a camera system and you also have a flashlight that only occasionally goes out.

If you want to see more I uploaded a video of my first playthrough:

The game is definitely worth it, so check it out! I haven't found any real bugs yet, but I'm kind of shocked no one has noticed this game, so show it some love!

In Silence is a great Co-op fun night game. If you have a friend or 4 you could really have a blast.

Try not to take this game too seriously. It's a Co-op, objective based 4 v 1 Killer type of game. Just try not to step on that squeaky teddy bear and you'll be fine.

You and your friends face off against a jumpscaringly ugly monster who wants nothing more than to eat you like a midnight munchy.

Do your best to find the codes to the Armory or get enough parts to escape in the Car. Yeah I know what your thinking very much like a couple other games eh? Well the one thing I will say about In Silence is it's better in Early Access than some games are when finished.

So give it a shot. For the price you can't go wrong and you'll probably have a few laughs too.

I see this game being a lot of fun once they add some more variations to it like some more Levels and Objectives/Methods of Escape.

Either way feel free to check this out and see if it works for you.

If you like Sci-Fi Puzzle solving games, this is for you.

The opening and premise of the game is hilariously conceivable if humans continue to behave as we do. I also really enjoy the audio tapes that explain a lot of the back story to how this all happened. It reminded me of when I use to play Half-life, I was constantly looking for more information.

The fact that this game has multiple endings is awesome. Instead of being a one shot and done, there is actually a reason to replay it. That alone makes me feel better about buying it.

I have to say it is a creepy, sci-fi, jump scare, Half-life puzzle, alien isolation type of game which I love.
Give the game a shot, once you get the hang of stealth and running the vents you'll enjoy it a lot more.

Can't wait to check out some other games, if they are anything like this.

First let me say, this is the best $2 I have ever spent.

The 2D artwork is amazing.

The puzzles are interesting and the pressure is hilariously awesome.

I really hope to see more games like this in the future from Justus Yew. I can't recommend this game enough. Stop what you are doing, buy this game and thank me later.

Thanks for making an awesome game. I've yet to beat it, but I'm having a blast playing it so far!

EDIT: Alright so I just replayed this game TWICE and have to say the majority of all my problems were completely fixed.

I found about 2 new bugs, neither of which were game breaking and I don't doubt the Dev will fix it as he does really care about this game.

Give this game a shot, it's well worth it and if I can beat it before the update and twice after so can you.

LOVE THIS GAME, Try it now! I'll add a link to my new playthrough when I get it uploaded soon.

New Playthrough as promised:

At first I loved, this game. Then I hated this game. Now I'm confused.
It's like being in an abusive relationship where you just can't break it off. I SAID NO.... yet here I am playing this game again.

It starts off promising and immediately throws you into the action like a blockbuster disaster movie. The first level you hop in a car and do your best to dodge attacks and escape Siren Head's warpath of destruction. What could be an interesting First Person game starts to feel like a bit of a Try and Die Arcade game.

I will say the graphics are pretty awesome and I really am impressed with the level design.

This game does continue after that level where you get to walk around a little* bit. Though there are some bugs and things that need to be polished up. So I'm going to refrain from crapping on it too much because it is a new game and I want to give them a chance to update if possible.

The following level is difficult but far from impassable as long as you don't fall through the map.

Then they expose us to another area of the game that requires you to make use of a crafting table to MacGyver some items. Sadly this part of the game is short lived.

The next level is interesting as it tries to send you back to the start of the game before Siren Head is going Godzilla on your butt. Unfortunately there's a few trigger issues with events and minor things that need to be fixed like the fence from outside sticking through the garage.

It tries to give you a few jump scares, but if you are like me it wears off after having to repeat this level 3-4 times because it isn't randomized at all. There's a simple solution to passing this level that is easily overlooked. Once you realize what you need to do, it becomes disappointing. It seems like they weren't totally sure what they wanted to do and this is like filler for the game.

Which totally detracts from the games biggest Siren Head cinematic moment that is actually pretty awesome.

You continue back where you left off now you make your journey to defeat Siren Head using your new tools you crafted.

The ending is pretty impressive but slightly confusing considering your win, is very short lived.

Overall this game needs some bug fixes, tweaks and polish but is a challenging attempt to redefine Siren Head.

For the price I say give it a shot, but for those that rage easily... you might want to keep in mind it is pretty difficult.

It's also unlike any Siren Head game I've seen before.

I really hope the developers continue to work on this and make more games in the future.

I'd give this game a difficulty curve rating of 9/10 till you understand the tricks to memorize parts to pass levels.
Graphics 9/10
Audio 6/10 The road breaking part needs better audio cues. (Also a no game sound audio bug fixed by pressing ESC)
Story 5/10 Because it's not quite sure what direction it wants to go and hints at a whole lot without revealing more.
Ending - Somewhere between a 9/10 and a 0/10 depending on worthless you feel once you finish the level then see the cinematic after kind of devaluing all your hard work with a negative reward.

Thanks for reading and if you have an extra $5 give it a shot. If you rage easy or get frustrated stay away.
