I could write a dissertation on how bad this game is.

One of the best games I've ever played and my personal desert island mobile game for many years. Keeping the PC version running in windowed is an amazing tool for killing time or relieving stress while working from home.

To the handful of negative reviews, damn that's sure a lot of words to say you're bad at the game.

Early Access Review
Having played through two characters at this point, I feel comfortable enough to say that I don't see how most of these complaints about the save system hold weight against how surprisingly polished and rewarding this game is. It does not take 30 minutes to get between dungeons and dungeons do not take hours to run-- these are complete hyperboles. Moreover, on top of fast travel between villages, points of interest locations allow you to repeatedly save in over 10 places on a relatively small map. It seems to me that many people posting negative reviews about this game haven't taken the time to learn the extent of its mechanics.

With that insanity put to rest, Stoneshard is a meticulously thought out turn based rogue-like. This early in development, it's already punching above its weight as a bit of an elastic band of a game. The amount of character building options, combined with some impressively-paced leveling, make for a shamelessly replayable game, with or without permadeath. The only threshold of entry to Stoneshard is a familiarity with rogue-likes. Barring that, I sincerely can't see how someone could dislike this game.
