I want to give this game a positive review i really do but i cant. I cant believe its 2025 and you STILL HAVENT added vertical look inversion. I made this same comment 3 years ago when the last demo came out and the fact 4-5 lines of code havent been added to accommodate a good portion of the player base so we can give your game/demo the best chance is mind boggling to me.

Good water physics
Good swimming mechanics

Negatives:
No inversion for looking
I understand yall want to be "faithful" to the OG game but for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love of god CHANGE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COMBAT
No lock on
If i loot everything from a chest, please dont make me also hit a button to close the chest. Just close the damn thing.

Thats all i have for now, didnt play long enough because i cant get used to non-inversion and it just pisses me off.

You guys seriously need to add the ability to skip dialogue in the over world.

Why is it that you guys even try to update anything? Why did you guys even update the MMR 6 weeks ago IF YOU WERE JUST GOING TO ADD ANOTHER STAR?!?!?! Do you guys know what youre doing because it seems like you have 2-3 lead game designers who all want something different and cant come to a consensus on what to do... SO YOU JUST TRY TO DO IT ALL. The entire team should be let go except the people who created the map. The map is amazing.

Here we are a few weeks later and what does Crytek do? THEY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BUFF SHOTGUNS. Like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shotguns needed another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buff. almost 4k hours in this game and for the first time i will be uninstalling this game. This game doesn't know who it is anymore or who it is trying to be an audience for. RIP Hunt Showdown, until there are new devs in charge i will no longer play this game.

Really enjoying this game. I know its EA right now but if they can keep this up and instead of being ftp, have a $20-$30 box price and allow us the many character slots we have now! The ability to switch back and fourth with our stash being open to all of them and when we switch characters, that chars equip stays on them is a great QoL upgrade from other Dungeon extractions. The game play is good, needs some better balancing but im sure itll get there as long as the continue to read the feedback and implementing it.

Edit: After playing this for 10 hours now one of the biggest things that needs changing is the matchmaking. There is no reason 3 players who are all level 1 with a gear score of 0 should be put into a game with ppl who are level 20 decked out with Legendary gear. If anything causes me to leave this game, this will be it because its happening more and more. Trying to play with new classes and cant because there is no semblance of balance in the matchmaking. Its insanely frustrating. Just like there is a gear score minimum to enter some of the matchmaking there should also be a level limit for the basic adventure map.

How is it 2024 and you guys over look the small things like look inversion? Will revisit this review in the future if they can patch this in with a quick hot-fix.

IMO this would be the best FF in the series if it have a more action based combat system! Music is top tier, Story is rich, the world is huge and alive, the switching between characters is amazing, the job system is fun, and i never really feel bored playing this one. Again only negative thing i can say is that if Gambits are on, sometimes it feels like a walking simulator but, youre walking through an amazingly well do world.

p.s. i know i only have 19 hours at the time of posting this but ive beaten this game many of times when it first released and the ZA on consoles.

I am one of the few people in this world who needs the ability to invert your mouse on all games. idk why, but i just am. I don't have much play time on this account but i've watched my brother and cousin play it a lot and it seemed really fun! well... come to find out there is'nt an option for inversion AND the devs said it was a waste of time to even put in it.... So are us players who like to play inverted a waste of time? The way we like to play video games is just a waste of time? So you're telling me that the area that this game was first released in 2011 or 2012 didn't have people complain about the lack of mouse inversion? Between then and now..8-9 years, you couldn't find one person to just pay for a bit to add this simple feature? Its the little things that matter to a lot of gamers and this is a little thing. Its very sad that you think me and the rest of us mouse inverted gamers are a waste of time but i have to thank you. Thank you for not adding this feature and allowing me to waste my time with your game.

So i see i wont be able to play this demo because THQ, just like in alot of their other titles, is prejudice to people who like to play with their camera inverted. "Just play it the regular way, its not a big difference" actually it really is because if youve played something your whole life one way, its very hard to change at the drop of a hat.

BUT i was able to atleast watch the intro video and lemme say... too much dialog. Too many times did he say "right" or "Alright" the Cinematic was really well done, just the character acts to chill for the way he's speaking. Calm the tone down a bit there.

Once there is a update to allow us less fortunate inverted players play, i will be able to play the full game and give a better review. Please add this. Thank you.

This game is great! I love the concept of it and cant stop playing it! there is only one thing that is bothering me, which is kind of weird that isnt an option. Where in the Y-inversion? Ive played with inverted controls my whole life and trying to get used to this is like "A Whole New World" (thank you Aladdin and Jasmine). Just wondering if you guys could please add that in a very small quick update :) other then that this game is great
