Game is great, combat always felt good. Ranged enemies still shred you at higher difficulties. Biggest complain as day1 buyer was performance and crashes, but after all the patches the game finally runs well and crashes are gone. The Class overhaul is a good step forward. It just needs some more map/environment variety to be as vast as vermintide 2

The rerelease of this game is DOA.
They did some improvements on the movement alright, but everything else from the gunplay to the sound just feel so bland, its a 4 year old game that looks OK but doesn't perform good... there are a LOT of server issues, from auth fails that force you to requeue, to finding a match and even loading the game, bf3 types of hitreg with a really low server tick rate, and there is no way to select your prefered region.

This actually makes bf2042 look like a good game.

Don't bother with the multiplayer if you're looking for a fresh arena shooter like Quake or UT, try splitgate instead.
Hitscan balistics combined with poor hitboxes, allied with mediocre gunplay, random recoil and no way of choosing server region or type of maps all in all its a recipe for a bad experience.
As of writing of this review performance goes to sh*t on big maps, so the incoming campaign doesn't bode very well on this department.

Pretty decent shooter if you're playing on console or with a controller, but a disappointment for kb/m.

This might just be the one of the most single unfortunate sum of events someone might have got on the first one hour of trying this game and this is why I'm going to refund it.

Played around 7/8 matches.
-Got disconnected twice before going into the last round.
-The last round I actually got to play was Hex-A-Gone, and to my disbelief I already had found a cheater that everytime he was about to fall into the slime he just launched himself up to the topmost available tile, like he was in some sort of upwards wind torrent.

.... and of course there is no ingame option to report a person, neither you can track that person down on steam, and manually report him through his profile.
Whatever anti cheat system the Devs implemented I doubt its effectiveness.

TL;DR
Cheaters in a competitive game = deal breaker

Love it. Chill game with lots of stuff to do and explore

Even tho this is a simulator, walking 5 minutes then getting shot from nowhere just to redo it again or sit prone on the same place for ages just waiting for someone to show up it's not the definition of a fun game. This is plain boring, rather watch grass grow.

A lot of connection issues even on official servers, game was actually fun on the first hours but as soon as you start to see what kind of meta people are getting behind you just wish you could refund it. Weapon dragging, feint lottery mechanics, and in general every melee action is hardly readable as the sense of depth seems poorly implemented ( every setting of FOV looks like you're using a fisheye, specially when dealing with stabs).

Unlike chivalry there's no ballerina bs going around, which is good but this one also it has his set of issues (don't even get me started with what kind of players this type of game draws in, at least on europe, which is 90% of the experience) and the lack of good game modes and maps makes this game getting really tiring really fast to me. Wouldn't recommend 4/10.

First reviewed this one as not recommend once he left early access because performance was garbage and that's a big no, no for a first person shooter.
Recently an update made the game much more fluid, so they are going on the right direction.

For whoever already played the first one this still has the good Insurgency gameplay we got used on the first one. If you're new and you are looking for shooter with a more tactical approach you'll enjoy this one.

Last COD I really spent some real time on was Modern Warfare 2, and honestly this feels like reskin with prettier graphics on a (unrealistic) ww2 setting.

Sorry, but I would only recommend if this was 20€.
