Early Access Review
I have mixed feelings about this game, while i really like the premise of the game and the gameplay is good i feel like most of the game's systems clash with each other coming from different genres that dont go well together.

The thing i hate the most is the random store, money is already scarse so your encouraged to save up however actually getting an item you need is rough. Even with all 6 slots unlocked the odds for getting what you need and in a tier thats actually affordable and useful for you at the time is low and even if you request items its only the first batch and the odds again are low. The amount of different armour pieces and the weapon variety make it so you hardly ever get what you need. Item quality % chance should scale with the players level and individual armour parts should be able to be requested at least in pairs (helmet + chest, both arms, both legs)

On one hand the funny haha lol store and ''spoils to the victor'' encourages you to try out different weapons, on the other side theres an incremental grindy rpg stat system that requires you to slowly over time build proficiency on a specific weapon type. Since the game is meant to be goofy i dont see why this rpg stat system even exists, i would rather have a single stat called ''weapon proficiency'' and call it a day.

Idk what the devs think about making this more roguelike but imo it would fix most of the core issues at least i have with the game. Having to unlock all slots every game is tedious, once you do fame becomes a bit pointless. I dont see why they wouldnt make it so that slots are permanently unlocked after the first time, make more interesting and incremental permanent scollo buffs and so on.

At the end of the day its a fun game but im left with this weird feeling that the games trying to be goofy but at the same time its permadeath, it encourages you to grab whatever and survive but then it punishes you for not sticking to the same weapon class, its all about making the most before dying but it doesnt seem like the devs want to roguelike this. Imo it has a big potential to become Mount and Blade: Hades rather than Mount and Blade: Gang Beasts but oh well

Early Access Review
Idk what people see in this game, its very raw and early in its development, there isnt much to do really its quite boring. I can see the potential if devs focus and narrow down the most important features, the game promises too many things and doesnt feel satisfying at any of them. EA is too generous imo, its basically a concept demo.

Pretty good game, best described as a budget Kingdom Come Delieverance survival. Progression is too time consuming, recruited people work a lot slower than one might think (not worth it early on) and questing is pretty painful. Foraging, farming and hunting is where the games shines best, crafting takes forever and cant be handled to villagers.

I'm actually impressed the devs had the balls to fully release the game at once instead of hiding behind a permanent early access to avoid criticism like other games do, its been a while since ive seen that.

Game's pretty good for the most part, needs some extra work optimizing maps (they are rather small so i dont see why low graphics cant give more fps than they do) and the animations when a tool breaks and gets replaced, also not a huge fan of the items icons they are pretty lifeless compared to how thematic most of the game is.

As other people pointed out theres no way to save while in a mission which really sucks, i hope its a bug. The game allows you to tamper with difficulty from the get go without missing out on achievements which is huge but then theres no save function at all outside your base. You have to chose between no stakes god mode or losing all progress on death, its not even a loot issue (as theres an option to keep it) but its just time consuming. Saving is a nice middle ground, it could be free or with consumable items, special save locations in the map and/or adding checkpoints.

Other than that the game's great, voice acting is top tier, i hope it sells well.
