After putting 300+ hours into this game I can safely say that it is very fun once you have gotten past the stage where you're just getting trampled by dinos. ARK is definitly better when played with friends as grinding for resources on your own can take a seriously long time. The game requires A LOT of grinding but the servers almost never wipe meaning there is plenty of time to gather resources and take breaks without much problems. I would reccomend this game to people who don't mind losing their progress every now and then as the public PVP servers can become very brutal when there are strong clans that come along and wipe your base.
Overall it is a pretty awesome game and makes for a fun time with friends.
