Beautiful game with an amazing soundtrack and innovative combat style. In my quest for slightly more niche FPS indie games, this is one of my favorites.

The love put into this game by all people who have worked on it is obvious, the very short campaign is highly replayable and is actively encouraged by New Game + and the achievements that, while difficult, are within reach of any player with enough patience. And the endless gamemode greatly compliments this for a fresh experience every time given its multiple modes that switch up the gameplay.

An amazing aspect of this game is its accessibility. If you see gameplay online or in the trailer, don't be scared to still give it a try even if it looks too fast for you! It looks a lot more intimidating than it actually is, and there are plenty of options which let it be playable to a large percentage of players. If you enjoy playing games on controllers especially, this game has some of the best controller support out of any game, even more so than some console exclusive ones! It's incredible for a game that would seemingly be so hostile to controller players to turn out so amazingly compelling for these people.

The soundtrack is also a highlight of this game, each song is divided into multiple parts that are played in each arena's waves to give a perfect example of adaptative music[en.wikipedia.org] done right! The second-to-last and last arenas have especially great climaxes. I highly recommend playing with the music at the same level as the sound effects as it is not intrusive and extremely fitting in any scenario. I have rarely seen a game manage to nail music this well.
