So far so good. In the vein of Creeper World of course, but different enough to be "slightly fresh" ^_^
Only on mission five, soundtrack is kicking ass (but may become worn if there's not more variability). There really is no good info on stats and such in the tutorial or UI, that I have found anyway.
It's like, "here's a ship with four different rings around it, good luck! Also it has a 'lathe', figure it out!"
I just disabled the weapons one by one to figure out what each ring was, and it seems easy enough to figure out the basics.
It just keeps nagging a little in the back of my mind that maybe some things does... other things as well, and I just don't know about it. Anyway, it's playable and so far enjoyable ^_^

Pretty good, nice shootin', nice weapons, nice story and the Nuggets of Truth is fun.
It's just... the artificial difficulty is annoying.
It's never really hard, even if you don't use the bullet time thing (which makes the game a cakewalk by the way which is why I almost never used it) but then because they made it so easy they throw new gimmicky mechanics on you without really explaining it (because once you know it, it isn't hard at all).
It's like the equivalent of jump scares in horror games, they're cheap and lazy ways when you can't be arsed/don't know how to do it properly.
It makes it hard in the wrong way.
