Brace yourselves, this is my first review ever.

So, while a lot of people keep comparing this game to Minecraft, i tend to compare it with Terraria. Minecraft was dead since Beta 1.3 (after they added the dogs, they stopped making good updates and transformed an exploring game into a half-assed attempt at an RPG.) but terraria managed to keep it's essence. I only played 4.2 hours of LEGO Worlds but from what i explored i'm impressed, good graphics even on LOW settings, good controls, exploring feels awesome since the world always have something new to throw at your face, you can ride ANY CREATURE you find and you can be whatever you want to be.

My first playthrough of the game was quite bad, since i had no idea what i was doing, so I turned the game off and thought to myself: "I just spent money on a bad game...". After about 2 hours of playing Guilty Gear I decided to give the game another chance so I started playing again.

My first playthrough:

>Skydives into a lava pit
>Finds a Warlock
>Slay the ♥♥♥♥ out of the warlock and get his character
>Buy him and starts using his witch hat
>Explores further and finds an skeleton
>Slaying.jpg
>Bought his character and starts wearing his skull with a witch hat
>Keeps wandering around and finds a dragon
>2Spooky4Me
>Dragon doesn't attack and I start riding it
>Flies to a canyon
>Find an outlaw and wear his clothes
>Flies a little further and finds a vampire
>Kills vampire and steals his cape
>Finds a chest, open it to find a bazooka
>Character creation complete.

Pros:

-Awesome exploring rewards
-Cool monsters
-Ability to shape your character into anything you like
-LEGO based construction system (although i suck at it)
-Great creatures
-Vehicles
-Procedural generated worlds
-Everything minecraft should have become.

Cons:

-Controller has no zoom-in option
-Some items are confusing to use
-No multiplayer (but i'm sure they're working on it)
-Lacks a pet system (i found a husky, but i wanted to have it as a companion, not mount the poor thing ;-;)
-Lacks ability to dual wield items (but they're probably going to add it in the future (ex.: sword and shield can't be used at the same time))
-Driving cars is kind of difficult with a controller.

Overall this game is awesome, and I'm a guy who HATES LEGO games but this one is all i ever wanted on a LEGO game: FREEDOM! ('murica). most of the cons on my list are just things that they should implement, and don't really affect the gameplay much, but i don't want this game to take minecraft's route and forget what the community wanted so,,,
