I went into this game heavily biased. I thought I've seen each and every one of the wannabe retro indie titles that all try to get some kinda deep message across.

And yet, it managed to blow me away completely. Well played.

Update: Devs silently abandoned the game after failing to inject lootbox cosmetics. While it's still pretty solid, I'd suggest looking for free Quake source ports instead.

No, seriously. The customization options don't fit the theme of X-COM at all.
The one time I let myself spend money on a season pass, and I get absolute garbage.

That's basically a port of Open Warfare 2. It features smaller team sizes, less weapons and much less customization.

Just buy Armageddon instead.

Give us money to uncrate weapon skins, just like Team Fortress 2!
Edit: So apparently they removed the stat bonuses from weapon skins. Good for them. The game is still plagued with tons of DLC.
