kind of a tiny map for 20$. From what i noticed, no new mobs, just regular enemies from the campaign. Since no skill's / previous gear is used during the arena, if you get lucky with a shock weapon and a smg, you can literally just go straight to the boss and avoid doing anything in this dlc. or you can take your time, loot around and get good gear to go kill the boss. Either way you choose it, once you do it once, you pretty much beat the DLC, this took me under 5m to beat for the first time. I cannot reccomend this DLC for 20$. if you manage to get lucky and find the Season pass 2 for 10$ and want to finish off your borderlands achievement list its kinda worth it?

Ava's podcast quest line took a little over a 1h 30m, to complete, It was a bit repetitive with needing to return to sanctuary to get the next quest, along with lots of parts with just standing and waiting for the dialogue to finish. I will note this had the best soundtrack out of the DLC's, but not 20$ worth. I was lucky enough to get the season pass 2, for 10$, and i think this was a decent price for the dlc, 5$, since its rarely on sale and stays at a price of 20$, i cannot reccommend it, buy it if its on sale and you want to 100% the game.

every negative review you see about controls or difficulty of the game, are players that need to get good. Im stuck on world 4, and it makes me feel like im a kid playing games for the first time with how hard it is. No hand holding, no npc's saying oh do this on this level ect. If you want a challenging and hard game this is it.

as hyped as it would have been, for there to be a PC version of smash, this is so far from it.

How is this a "Open Beta" if it has a battle pass, more store content that content able to be unlocked for free, and the stuff you can unlock requires such a grind. Seems like a game that shouldnt be made past beta

Gameplay is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buggy, every match, your character will be rubber banding, you will be mid combo and just start getting hit by a teleported in player that was doing his combo and the server finally caught up.

Unlocking characters in this game is a grind for the sake of a grind, Why make it so expensive and a varrying amount for characters if there all supposed to be equal? Why make it so you need to keep on re-buying perks you have already bought because you are on a different chracter? Why have so many skins locked behind a physical pay wall with no way of grinding to get new skins or emotes or effects?

Navigation throught the menus in the game is frustrating, some signs will have press X, presuming if you press X that will hit the button, nope gotta move all the way over there, which isnt too bad for mouse and keyboard but painfully slow for controller users. After finishing a game , it will near automatically put you in que for another match, Why make it so the A button will auto start the next game after a match, but B dosent back out?
The amount of times ive had this game ask me about crystals, or to buy the season pass was beyond annoying for a free game with such high quality characters in it. Id rather just pay a price for the game and get good servers instead of this mess.

This game is a lot of fun once you unlock the final night, the process to get there is a bit repetitive, just win 15 times with it slowly getting harder. If you steam rolled the first night, this is going to be a bit of a tiring grind to get to the main game, but once you get there it is worth it! It seems like each character has a gun that fits just for them, but after playing around more theres near endless combos/ variants/ builds you can do that make this game fun each time you load it up. They even released a new character and gun for free in a update, i like where this game is headed

Where to start. Lets aim for some positives, the graphics look nice and rubbery polished, with some cute costumes and cool looking maps.

This games controls are on par with Fall guys. There slippery, janky, slow and frustrating for the point of being "fun". I cant tell if this game design is to try and limit people that have been playing video games for years and force them to be on par with new players with these horrendous game modes. You cant controll how long your character is knocked out for, or if he even falls down when getting hit, or just bounces back up in a frame. The loop of gameplay of heist matchs are controller smashing frustrating. Like holy ♥♥♥♥. What a complete stupid idea for a game. If you had voice chat or any way of communication in the game that could maybe work? But the constant loop of, hit someone grab cash, get hit loose cash, and repeat is so annoying and stupid. Im happy this game had a free weekend, i was interested in buying it, but it would have been a quick refund. Why buy a game, when you dont even own all the content in the game? theres skins behind DLC walls instead of trying to update the game, you know like normal decent game developers. Whats up with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forced camera angles? unless you memorise every map, be ready to be in a small section of the corner of the screen with no way of seeing whats around you, if your grabbing on to something, where your facing. Just feels like the game was super rushed and not really tested.

i really enjoyd the base game of cuphead, and would reccomend this dlc if its on sale.

The price of 10$ (main game is only 20$) and the amount of content in the two are vastly different, There are no campaign levels with enemies like it is in the main game. Just 5 or 6 bosses, and a mini game that consists of, you guessed it more bosses. They had some neat attack patterns but it feels like they heavly rely on using the new ms chalice character and her double jump to reach ledges in boss arenas (yes cupad can do it, you just have to be a lot more precise than the main campaign).
some people have been waiting 4 years for this DLC, only to be done it in a day, i wish there was more content and not just bosses.

The more i play this game, the more i love it. At first trying to drift your horse seems impossible, its just scooting like a dog with worms. After a while i finally got the hang of it and it is glorious! you can slow down you drift and turn on a dime while keeping your boost if you understand the controls right. If you manage to be the first team in a town, you want to loot it for better gear to prepare to defend it from upcoming knights. They have some built in function tools for co-op, such as a ping, and dialog boxs that literally appear over your head and can be seen by anyone in the game. There are still some things left to be desired before the full release (check out the pros and cons below). The game has seen a couple updates in its beta and its new-est one included enchantment to weapons. Some can be fire imbuned or poisned or even vampire effects that heal the shooter. These add a unique sense of battle that makes each fight stand out on its own as you make your way to the end castle. Talking about the end castle, it has 5 different entrances and 3 ways up, most times you will find people camping the main gate as a solid choke point to hold. If you make it past that and to the castle itself, there are normally chests inside depending on the amount of teams left, giving you a rough estimate of a battle to come! Overall id reccomend this game once it fully releases. Until then keep it on the wishlist to motivate the developers to finish it off!

Pros
Drifting is fun and smooth (once you get the hang of it)
Shortcuts to find around the map like boost off rocks to fly over fences
Unique towns leading up to the castle
medium variaty of weapons but lots of enchantments for them
Guns accuracy seems fair and pre-shooting needed changes per gun
you can change your Knights color
Medkits seem fair and balanced

Cons
Broken reload animations on guns
swapping guns may not update your guns look (drop AK for a bow, You will be holding a AK but shooting like a bow till you reload or change to a medkit and change back to your weapon)
Some floors and roofs can still be fallen through, espically at the end castle. although these provide no advantages to winning the game, they shouldnt be in a game because they are soft locks if a player dose them by mistake)
Ammo counter/ magazine information should be avaliable, right now you have no clue how many bullets are left in your clip, just the overall amount of ammo you have
Dropping a gun with max ammo, then picking up a different gun will result in you not having max ammo anymore (so you loose ammo depending on what guns you pick up)
Rare occurance of aimbotters sniping you in 3 hits while they are drifting a pink horse backwords behind you and not missing a shot on you or your teamate
AFK players at the start of a game can ruin your chances of making it to the town first, if you leave without your teamate you will take a damage penalty and slowly start to die, this is the first game i find my self leaving games when i have afk teamates instead of playing it out, you loose any advantage you have by getting to the town after its been raided, when they have full medkits, bombs and weapons, and you just have a pistol because your teamate was idle until the first night
No rewards for winning, or even a tracker to keep count of wins
Came across 3 hackers in a row, one game a guy was flying dropping bombs like it was hiroshima, the other two times my teamate would 1 shot kill me in spawn then fly off like super man

a really cool take on a survival game, where no matter what you will die, the goal is to see how long you can survive for. There are over 70 different enemy disc types and 4 power ups, Id highly recommend this game to anyone that liked super meat boy or any precise games that are fast and require many many attempts before beating a level
