From the roadmap posted, it looks like this gem was slowly being refined over years. Id highly recommend this to anyone that enjoyd games like binding of isaac

a really well thought out game. All the characters are unique in there attacks, stats, weapons and looks. The cutscenes were enjoyable to watch for unlocking each character, and how the intro slowly builds off itself to show a little bit more each time. The items are all unique and are fun to pick up, i rarley find myself sighing or running past a item i dont want to try out. The amount of different floor layouts, along with actual different themed floors to unlock and visit is a lot for the price you are paying.

SO many huge improvements over Lost Castle 1. When playing local co-op loot is separated for each person, you can share / drop it if you CHOOSE to share it. You can dodge mid attack instead of watching your character get it in the first one. Secret passages are actually secret in this one, requiring you to venture off the beaten path and bomb your way to a new area / chest you would have missed.

Only negative and its a big one, It only has servers in China, If you are outside of china, prepare for some horrible lag, full 2-3 seconds delay.

Personally would only buy if you have local people to play with

What a game, How to even start to review it. I hate and love it.

*Note: Most of the games in UFO 50 are arcade style. Meaning the enemy AI is unfair and predicting your moves, The game is un forgiving with no saves, Friendly AI will hinder you and not help. Go in to this knowing you will probably NOT cherry everything. But take note of the ones you do. Those are you games, your playstyle and what you enjoy. Sure you can grind through the rest. It will be frustrating, but you will learn new playstyles and skills that will carry over to other games.

Game: well there's 50 . . . Here's 50 short reviews. Will be adding games as i cherry them.

Barbuta: What a classic. Pull out a pen and paper and get ready to draw a map.
Ninpek: Too short, Want more
Magic Garden: If snake had a weird hot cousin
Velgress: You are your worst enemy
Devilition: Dangerously addicting
Bushido Ball: ♥♥♥♥ you
Camouflage: Wish it was harder
Big Bell Race: I wanted to smash my controller
Waldorfs Journey: Make a full game of this
Overbold: Binding of isaac lite
Hyper Contender: meh?
Pilot Quest: Over Hyped
Quibble Race: Lets go Gambling
Seaside Drive: Relaxing and Scenic views
Cyber Owls: Janky / buggy but can be fun

Lore: I love the idea of all of these games being released on a imaginary console, Each with fake release dates that help give a era as to what type of game you are in for. Going through and doing the terminal easter eggs really unlocks more of a story line for those who are looking for it.

Grunn has to be one of my top 10 games of 2024 so far. I love these exploration games with puzzles to solve. Your worst enemy in this is yourself with being limited to 2 in game days, to achieve what you want. The replay ability of this game was perfect. For having you keep on restarting but keeping a book of your knowledge / photographs of what puzzles you have completed encase you forget how you got a item. The hunt for the true ending was a lot of fun to solve. The sound track was pleasant and adapts to whats currently going on. While playing i ran in to no bugs wich is a lot to say coming from a small indie studio. Seems like the game was tested really well before release. Overall a solid 9/10 game

Goat simulator 1 was an amazing and fun game, if you enjoy'd it, you will enjoy this, but be left disappointed by how short the campaign is. If its on sale, pick it up, but 40$ is way too much.

Early Access Review
**Road map and dates was originally posted on steam store page over 2 years ago, has been removed, i do not trust the company anymore**

I really loved the first slime rancher. Playd a lot of it. 100% it completley, from the time trials, to ranching every slime and having a automated farm. It was a unique and one of a kind game. Hearing about slime rancher 2, nearly 3 years ago. I had high hopes for this game. Its a small indie studio that has done DLC in the past adding new slime and other content. I was really hoping for a whole new enviroment, a reason for a 2nd game. This just feels like knock off slime rancher 1. Looks the same, Slimes are less creative and more akin to animals. The unique slimes are gone (might not be in the game yet since early access). The map feels to squished and small. Slime rancher 1 had big open areas, different biomes. This game has those, just in a much smaller size. The lore of this being on the same planet is ok? but it just makes me wonder, is this game needed? or could it have been a dlc? We traveled to different worlds (farms, i cant exactly recall if there located on the same world or different) in the first game. A bit silly that we are now exploring the planet we are on. This could have just been a DLC like any other add on in the first game. But instead we loose everything from the first game, the heart melting slimes, wonderful sound track that compliments a beautiful enviroment and makes your jaw hit the floor. Its just gone. You want slimes? heres some slimes, fork over 40 CAD for early access, i just cant reccomend.

Huge improvement from the first game, and the first one was already amazing! From a small studio, the amount of easter eggs packed in to this near full length game, feels like it came from a much bigger studio with how much time and effort was put in to it. I loved all the refrences from the bounty spiders name, to crazy dave look a like from pvz being a npc with similiar chat style. There are a ton of collectibels in this, and its still early access! Every update has been a lot of fun to play through with little to no glitches. Im excited to see the full game once it releases, highly reccommend picking up the early access and supporting them

Most Wholesome game of 2024

What a adventure of a game! I bought it thinking i was going to climb 3 mountains, maybe find a collectible or two and have the game 100% in under 2h. I was wrong. There is so much content in this game its amazing. There are a plethora of NPC's scatterd high and low in this world, each with unique dialog, or side quests. The in game lore pulls on your heart strings. You follow in your dads footsteps of setting up radio towers a top the mountains you climb. There are polaroid photos you collect that shed more light on the lore along you go. The soundtrack makes the overall feel so peacefull, easy to get lost in just looking around once you make it to the top.

10/10 game

I was really excited to see FTK had a DLC, but after reading some reviews, i went in with below average expectations, even then i feel like this is not worth it. They added a lot of new mechanics and 2 new characters, along with some other Lore shop items, wich is all good! but, my issue is with the DLC campaign map. There are a ton of back to back to back battels, unlike the first couple campaigns where those were saved for dungeons, caves, towers ect, here its used constantly. I have a really high movement stat, but will never attack first, this makes so after defeating a group of enemies, a new wave spawns and outputs 3 attacks right away, no time to heal between battle, no time to move items between characters, no time to swap gear if you made a bad build ect. It is beyond punishing for trying to let the player experiment with the new classes and gear in the DLC. If you save scum, be prepared to be confused, If you re-do the same battle, you will start to realize enemy spawns are random. For example you could be facing 3 easy wolfs for your first battle, or 2 high level golems and a mage. To me this shows there is no thought put in to enemy layout or placement. With the barge of new diseases and bad effects cast upon the player, there is little to no explanation of them. It is frustrating to find out your character is turned to stone, and you have no clue how to turn him back. Even playing this on the easiest difficulty seems impossible, with following guides to character builds, battle strategies, board strategies and everything else, its not just a sit down causual play and win a game every couple of times, its hours upon hours of resets and praying for good RNG and knowing what to look out for because you read up on it or experienced it. Would not recommend.

TLDR: still the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but with more spice, you can get turned to stone. But you still will be missing every roll. Failed 3 95% chance rolls in a row and had a team wipe. Worst game ever.
