Let's be real, I'm taking the time to review this game for the same reaon as everyone else but let me explain a bit why it deserves not only overwhelmingly positive, but why you new peeps should get it.

This was my first hack and slash game, while i've been interested in playing other games in the genre like DMC, I was always intimidated to do so because of how complicated some of the combos looked.
And so in january of 2023, this game comes along and arguably solves that intimidation factor through the use of it's main gimick, everything is timed to the beat of the genuinly amazing music.

This not only helps you time your bring your combos together, but it makes you feel like the coolest MF:er alive. The feeling can only be described as living out the scene of your favoirte film. It combines an element that would help newcomers to the genre with a form of stylization that is frankly super difficult to pull off.

This, together with a funny, but heartwarming story. It's simple, but the writers use the simplicity as a foundation for a story interested in seeing it's main cast grow.

As described, Hi-fi rush is a small, simple game thats easy to jump into and won a ton of awards. So why Microsoft decided to shut down tango gameworks when they claim thats exactly what they want in a game, makes it clear that they're the same kind of villain portrayed in this game.

Fitting, but very dissapointing.

Cyberpunk 2077 is quite frankly, one of the greatest glow ups in gaming.

After playing the first chapter for free I can safely say that this might turn out to be a great story that I really want to follow.
Not gonna go into detail about things but I highly recomend playing the first chapter and then make your own judgement on if you want to continue the story or not. Because i surely will!

So first let me ask you:
-Do you like kicking yourself
-Do you like ye old gothic horror
-And do you like rouge-likes

If you answerd no to the above let me tell you. I didn't either but this game is probebly the only game that makes cry until out of cheer disgust and makes me enjoy it.

So give it a shot if you are interested and want your sanity destroyed, I would. Or maybe thats just the sadistic parasite that was planted in me when i first played this game that just want more of it's kin on this planet. Who knows?
