It was alright. It's not the best visual novel I've played (though it might be soured by the fact that I had to pay for it... the best price is free after all), or it might be the fact that I did pay for it that makes me more critical of it, but overall it's good entertainment. It sends a good message, though it's slightly worsened by questions that the story doesn't bother answering, and it has good music and atmosphere.

In some ways, it's written like a sitcom? I wouldn't exactly know how to put it, but this game has a lot of absurdity that had me questioning whether or not I laughed with the game, or at the game, and it took me a while before I came to the conclision that I was actually laughing with the game. Over it's runtime, it made me burst into *loud* laughter many times with lines and situations that sometimes come out of left flank in the best way possible.

It doesn't have the best quality of life features (RenPy has the visual novel market cornered on that front) which make the game a little frustrating to play sometimes, but it's still largely a visual novel that's worth playing if you've got some pocket money to spare. It manages to find moments of honesty, it gives good food for thought, and as long as you're willing to accept some slop it's a good visual novel.

There's no illustrated smut in it though. ♥♥♥♥ you, Klace, I wanted to see them naked twinks.
