This game is very fun! It can be difficult to play on servers with your friends, but the overall game is phenominal. I would reccommend this game to others.

This game is Meh.

Explanation: This game is one of the first FPS games that I played, so it introduced me to the FPS genre. I loved the game when I first played it, but now, after replaying the game years later, I've realized that the game isn't as amazing as I thought it to be. The game is enjoyable, but, when compared to other popular FPS games, it's just an "okay" game.
The game has a steady framerate of 60fps and has what I consider to be good graphics. The game itself has an intriguing story. You are the only ARK survivor after your "asteroid" crashes into what appears to be Earth; this post-apocalyptic Earth, however, is inhabited by bandit clans and mutants, all of which are "ruled" by the Authority. You are saved from the crash site and are sucked into a tale of survival and, eventually, rebellion against the Authority.
The game has a Mad Max-ish sort of feel, with desert wastelands and an element of racing. The different difficulties don't really change the gameplay or difficulty level (normal and nightmare difficulties seemed the same to me). Some of the elements of the game seem somewhat out of place (specifically the racing in the game, which ruined some of the games' immersion for me). The ending of the game seemes rushed and leaves me unsatisfied (the end is very simple in my opinion). The gameplay is smooth and the content of the game is satisfactory. The achievements are good (some are difficult to "achieve"). The game has replayability, but one or two trips through the game reveal most of the games' content.

Conclusion: Rage is an entertaining FPS game with an interesting story, good graphics, smooth gameplay, and a fair amount of content. However, certain aspects of the game ruin the games' immersion (they seem out of place), and the game's ending feels rushed. The game is good, but, honestly, stick to Mad Max.
