Many survival games surfaced over the years, most are pretty similar. This is a Breath of fresh air.
You might struggle at the beginning but each try you will learn how to survive longer. every minute alive is rewarding.
The world is rich in variety and still consistent. Since resources are sparse, the game keeps you moving but there are still moments to enjoy the warmth of a Fireplace while waiting for dangerous Wildlife to pass your hideout.
You get a very realistic feeling for surviving a severe Weather situation.
The artstyle is simple in a non exhausting way. Just detailed enough to be immersing but with a timeless unobtrusiveness.

For your money you will get many hours of playtime and an unforgettable experience

This game is out since 2019 and there are still alot of bugs unfixed. Also it feels very unbalanced, the performance optimization isn't great and it looks outdated overall and the DLCs are not worth their price.

I recently had much fun with Tropico 5 and bought this game at a big discount and I am still disappointed of both gameplay and technology. It does not add many useful features, the UI is often times clunky, some things just feel like a chore to do. Units getting stuck and getting a guerilla popup every 20 seconds does not really help the flow.

This brings me to the main problem i had with the game and its the almost unavoidable constant guerilla attacks that destroy your power plants, keep the tourists out and collapse your entire, otherwise stable growing economy even at an election rate between 80-90%. together with other factors that sometimes feel like things are working based on randomness.
Information on how to manage things are sparse ingame and on the interwebbs, aside the usual "Build lots of rum and cigar factories" and "Let the dev fix the f---ing game"

I recommend buying one of the older Tropicos (since you are not missing much) or a different city builder until the game gets overhauled. my personal favourite at a small dollar is the one-man-developed game Banished.

Any resolution that is not 16:9? -Not worth a buy. Got it 4 free via AMD Rewards. Won't play it until they fix it, so no positive review.

Ein ausgezeichnetes Produkt. Die Bildqualität ist fast nicht vom Original zu unterscheiden, viele Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und sehr einfach im Setup. Abstürze und Freezes fast nie.
Für ungetrübte Freude unbedingt auf aktuelle Standards bei Switches und Lan-Kabeln achten.
Streaming über Wlan habe ich bisher nicht getestet aber es versteht sich von selbst, dass auch dort eine ausgezechnete Verbindung zu gewährleisten ist, da man schon mit dem Lan-Netzwerk an die Grenzen der Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit stoßen kann.
