A lot of fun. Definitely prefer this version of the game over the sequel. I found the online multiplayer a lot more serviceable than other reviewers but it really is a couch title

This game is good, but you have to understand what it is. It's a puzzle game about managing cars, not a strategy game or urban planning simulator. It's enjoyable in the same way one would enjoy Sudoku or Bejeweled

This game has good bones and it's fun for the first 80 minutes or so organically expanding your city. However some of its mechanics are incredibly shallow and turn what could be a very engaging simulator into something that feels like a mobile game. Namely, villager promotion and soldier missions are grindy and tycoon-like, but not mentioned in the game description. I'd recommend this game at a much lower price but it has very little replay value for its current cost.

For some reason there is a hard limit on 4 player in a multiplayer lobby. While the game has more polish than earlier Stronghold games, this is an unforgivable defect. My main hope for this game was big lobbies with friends and the player limit makes this game kind of worthless.

Played this game expecting something similar to Jalopy or My Summer Car. Controls were awkward, basic inventory management was annoying, and the game was extremely buggy. While the advertising cinematics make this game seem pretty, the playermodels looked ridiculous and the poo and pee mechanics undermined any kind of atmosphere. Very much a goofy unity physics game.

I had a decent time laughing at the mechanics with a friend but I don't think this game will be seriously playable until it comes out on VR.

An incredible educational experience. Perfect for the kids.
