Extremely sad to see the things that ZA/UM has done and how the creators of this amazing game are not getting their fair share of the profits. It would be absolutely amiss for me to negatively review this though, so i urge to to find *other* ways to play this game instead of through steam. I didn't know about the injustices before i had bought it.

This game is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful and the story is second to none. The dialogue is lively, the narration is amazing, the gameplay is fun and just interactive enough. Everything about this game is elegant and emotional, and this is a perfected example of games being an artform. Don't support ZA/UM tho :)

So, so, so good. Combat is nice and punchy, style is literally EXCELLENT and perfectly captures the animations, characters and dialogue is funny and adds to their actual characters in the animations, the story is really interesting if you look deep into it, and the arena mode is very very nice and the customization is great. Only gripe is that sometimes the movement and combat can feel a little jank and confusing for players new to this style, but otherwise it's a fantastic game.

Legit my favourite FPS game, movement is so smooth and free, weapons are concise yet complicated, the lore is really fun, the characters are robots (really cool), and the style and music are immaculate. 1000/10

Very fun and satisfying, losing doesn't feel bad whatsoever and the community servers are very diverse and interesting (P.S. My favourite servers are Pantheon and NoRules.) Only thing i have a slight problem with are the graphics (which aren't even that bad and it has amazing lighting, and i'd have no idea how to make them better without ruining the frames.) Overall great game.

EDIT: Lighting and graphics are immensely improved, though this came with the cost of poorer optimization that was already kinda present. One of my favourite servers, Pantheon, has shut down (oceanic server), and though this isn't the creator's fault i struggle to find balanced and fairly vanilla servers like it. However, I haven't been able to play at all recently due to an error stating that states "processing of server security verification was too slow for the server," or something to that effect, despite my internet speed and specs being completely fine and my constant attempts of fixing it. The technical troubleshoot channel in the official discord is really unhelpful for this error too. Some SCP's can also be pretty unfun to play as and against, such as 096 and 106.

Otherwise it's a fantastic game, and i hope to see more in the future. I'm particularly excited for a surface-zone rework and reworks to SCP's and other classes, along with any new characters that may or may not be added later. The future of this game seems extremely promising, and the fact that it's a free game still baffles me to this day. o7
