Can't think of any game similar in experience, nothing else comes close to this atmosphere for me. It's slow paced, heavy and intense with a nice touch of grotesque. At the moment game play seems fairly balanced, all weapons have their pros and cons and are individually fun to use. Personally I find it's best played with friends. Would absolutely love a co-op PVE mode too!

Edit: Some of the dlc characters are getting a bit cartoony rather than cool looking which is concerning. Still waiting on that PVE mode too.

The best looking and sounding VR game out there (even better looking than some modern PC games), incredible visuals with fantastic performance throughout most of the game. Plays out very much like a beginners guide to VR. The enemies are sparse and slow, puzzles are fairly simple but have pleasing interactions. If you're looking for intense action there are a few moments, but it's mostly about the atmosphere and story which are both brilliant. Definitely a must for any VR user.

If you're a fan of Justin Roiland's two voices and usual goofy characters, this should be right up your alley. It's a good laugh and a nice seating/standing VR game which also has a PC version available. It did eventually give me some eye strain/head ache even on steady 90fps but that might have been from extended play jumping from other games.

This is the worst experience I've ever had in VR. STAY CLEAR.

• Instantly loading up, the game looks as though my lenses have been smeared with Vaseline.
  
• Everything is blurry, as though it's out of focus. Seriously strains your eyes.
  
• Someone had the bright idea to have a hood that covers over 50% of your vision.
  
• I will say, the hood was the only thing that looked somewhat in focus, likely got the DOF wrong.
  
• Anything that might be interesting (climbing/sneaking into the castle) is cut off and skipped by fading to black with a cutscene.
  
• The game holds your hand the entire way, highlighting everything even with massive font sprawling across walls.
  
• AI are as dumb as a sponge hammers, I casually walked behind them to each destination on Normal.
  
• You can't interact with anything other than the horribly highlighted loot / mission items.
  
• Doesn't utilise VR in any interesting way, no belts or bags. Things just magically vanish or appear when store / needed.

I'm fairly good with motion sickness, Vanishing of Ethan Carter was the only one to get me before, this had me feeling rough after two minutes, even with the low awful graphics.

With a lot, and I mean a lot of work, this could have been interesting. The idea is there, but the follow through was half arsed at best and leaves it with a cheap mobile game feeling.

If you're looking for something a little different with a bit of story instead of the usual cookie cutter VR games this is the one to play.
A good length of story/gameplay which is very comfortable to play for longer periods in one sitting/standing.
Visually the graphics are crisp and sharp, world interaction is satisfying and the sound design is fantastic.

It's a wide mix of funny and oddity but safe enough to show grand parents or your blue haired sister.

Fantastic Surival game with steady support and updates from the Devs. Most of my time is spent spearing puppets and hunting for replacement gear. If you enjoy crafting and exploring this game is for you.

Great to play if you want a nice quiet relaxing puzzle game.

Six years since release and it still stands tall today, even taller than the just released (2016) Mafia 3. Graphics hold up just as strong, gameplay is still fun and extremely satisfying and the writing makes it feel like a Martin Scorsese film. I still get goosebumps when first driving through snowy Empire City listening to Dean Martin's Let it Snow.

Pros:
Great Driving (Cars feel heavy and real)
Satisfying Shooting (Cosmetic damage / sound effects / visuals / AI)
Great Graphics
Great Music
Fantastic Atmosphere (Feels more alive than similar games released since)

Cons:
Some odd bugs still make the game crash (Random graphical artifact caused crashes for me)
Very poor DLC ( Joe's Adventure is the only one worth getting but it's like they gave up on it half way through)
Aside from the Main Missions there isn't much to do in the city (Other than collecting items for achievements)
Overly difficult achievements (Not a big deal for most)

From playing Civ V recently, I have it in my mind that the game won't progress unless I click "Next Turn".
A lot of people have died, a lot of people. In all seriousness though I love this mix up of gameplay.
It's the first game that's been a truly interesting and fun challenge in a long time.
