One of the most enjoyable City Builders I've had the pleasure to play, despite the fact that It's still in early access. Definitely something to either keep an eye on, or purchase early, if you're interested in detailed city builders/managers with a medieval twist.

Despite the hours played, I wouldn't recommend this game whatsoever. It wasn't the best at launch, but the most recent update has completely decimated any sense of balance. As always, Axis have been overtuned in various ways to provide the 'best at everything' whilst the allies routinely suffer.

Allies overtuned? Patch in a literal day.
Axis overtuned? Still not fixed.

Update as of 22/7/2024 - The new patch dropped. It changed a few things. Balance is still screwed with a heavy leaning towards Axis, as always. It feels a bit more egregious this time around given the changes to Axis Early Inf and It feels like they're getting their tanks out a bit faster now - but who knows.

TLDR; Game's still "DO NOT RECOMMEND"

When you rip animations from Halo 1, you know there is going to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem.
It's pathetic, lazy, and downright ugly just to look at.
