You don't need to like anime to enjoy this game. That's just the art style.

This game is pure evil. Make sure you know as little about this game as possible before playing.

Easy to play, and lots of fun. Games are pretty quick too.

Early Access Review
This game is the Pokemon GO of 2017. Buggy as hell and frustrating to play. Very addictive and most fun to played with friends. Nvidia Highlights feature is nice but also very temperamental. Cosmetic item economy is way over inflated. Seems the devs are focussed on monetisation for now, instead of improving the game. Laughable how NOT ready this game is for version a full title launch. Great whilst it lasts.

Seriously good multiplayer and the best single player I've ever experienced. Furiously fast paced gameplay, smooth controls and epic soundtrack. The season pass just got made free which makes it even better value... If you can afford the 80+ GB storage cost. (Steam reccomends 55GB but this appears to be incorrect)

This game was released 2 weeks before my exams. I doubt I passed. 10/10.

No support for 21:9 or crossfire. Despite searching through and editing the many .ini files I was unable to force X resolution greater than 1920, leaving the picture stretched. As a result of the crossfire issues many game assets are invisible, flickering or pop in and out of existance, making the intro scene virtually unplayable and highly unenjoyable. It also crashes as you enter Rapture.

It's ALRIGHT, but not great. The game has an R18+ rating but feels like it caters to a much younger audience. Enjoyable and challenging gameplay is forsaken in preference of gimmicky and "cool" features such as the frustrating parkour/wallrunning and jump jets only useable on specific parts of the map. Many areas are blocked off by invisible walls, and it's easy to fall out of the map because you're suddenly unable to run on a particular part of a wall or surface. The playable classes and their armour try to be "badass" but just come off as cringeworthy, rediculous or just plain annoying. The player's character is given a voice and will comment on key gameplay moments, a feature I turned off long after it became frustratingly lame. The game takes a much faster pace than old Call of Duty titles, if that was possible, becoming a speed-fest full of shotgunners, and smg users, although there is little difference between smgs, rifles and lmgs besides appearance and a couple of gimmicky attachments. Due to map design and the pace of the game, sniper rifles are almost entirely useless, and having lost the 'fun' factor they possessed in previous games, I have avoided them for much of my time spent in game.

Furthermore, the developers assume player's are idiots, restricting graphics settings to optimal, limiting avaliable settings to lower end systems, and scaling back to TF2-esqe graphics if set too high, with no explanation as to why the game now looks like crap. The game looks better with most settings on low, with high shadows than it does on auto or high settings - and that's with a $2600, dual graphics card PC.

Although entertaining, the fun moments are outweighed by the frustrating ones and repetitive gameplay.
The Multiplayer starter edition appeals, but don't pay full price for this game.
