It's not a bad game at all, it's just that the devloper's make leveling super slow in order to get you to play more hours, so in turn you think you got a better deal. The levels do have diffrent layouts and designs which is nice but the game is non-stop survival in wave modes. kill, trade, kill, trade, kill, trade/buy armor. repeat. Thats all you'll ever be doing.


Again not a horrible or even bad game, but tripwire knows how to play it's aduience like a fiddle.

I'm a casual if not very casual fan of city simulation/building games. I just bought this game today and have only played it for two hours. The tutoiral I think is easy enough to follow along and the base game starts you with the bare minmium to get started. My biggest issue so far was figuring out how to set up a power grid, then I read that as homes, stores, factorys get built they lay their own underground power grid. Unlike you needing to full manage the water and sewer lines but those are extremely simple to grasp.

I've currently stopped at a very small town of maybe 4,800 residents and am procing about 3,800 dollars per week in profit for the city for future projects. I can easily see why some people could sink thousands of hours into this game and why most will sink in at least 75 or more.

The Mother Forker melee is one of the best melee weapons in the game if you don't need low concealment. Replaces Trench Knife for me unless I need high concealment vaule (low detection rating).

The Piglet (Gernade Launcher is slightly less accraye then gl40 (the other single shot tube one) and has a bigger ammo pool. Both shoot the same gernades. if you dont use your secondary or if it cant pick up ammo (saw/RPG) it has a 1:1 ammo pickup long as you got a perk deck filled to the 135% ammo gain skill/perk. Meaning you'll never run out of ammo if you kill 1 or more units with it. the incindary rounds are useful for more area of denial, i guess the best way to use them is to lob them on police spawns during assault waves. (EX: door ways on hoxton breakout day 1)

the flame thrower might not be viable for deathwish (haven't tested that) but on overkill and less it's fun and can really help clear if not stun a large group. It's a better weapon then the minigun for sure.

Plus you get 4 masks, 4 materials and 4 patterns with this all behind achivements that are easy to get and they can all be got solo. Not to mention abnother 3 melee weapons.

The AA-12 shotgun is also fun to use. The dragon breath shells aren't all that impressive to me.

The moltov gernades burn a decent sized area like a 5-7 foot circle of fire that last for at least 8 seconds maybe up to 20. This is really handy if you are defending a area like say the security room PC on hoxton breaking while its hacking, to prevent cops from shutting off the power box/computer.



In short: one of the best 4.99 DLC's I bought for payday 2, way better then overkill pack.

Why do I inflict this level of suffering onto my eyes, mind and soul?

Because it was 1 dollar with 2 other visual novels.

It's fun but I feel it's mostly just a reskinned Civ 5. Also I suck at civ games.

8th playtrough:

Day 1: barely survive first day
Day 2: find really good stuff. can opener, knife, hatchet.
Day 3: get inside the dam, kills the wolf with knife, gets rifle.
Day 4: set out for coastal highway's garage to make base
Day 5: kill a wolf, steal all it's ♥♥♥♥.
Day 6: go out hunting for last wolf to make wolf pelt jacket.
Day 6 and a half: freezing inside a ice fishing hut, wolf comes around the corner and kills me since I was at 39% condition and couldn't ready my rifle in time.

8/10, will get killed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wolves again.

One of my favorite games ever with a great play style.

It's about 3/4th's the size of Big Bank if that even. On Normal it's pretty easy to stealth with or without the thermal paste asset. Even though its about 6.29 right now, I still like it and it's not like you'll have a hard time finding people to play with at the time of this writing.

Hotline Mamai is a better DLC, but thats a loud mission. This is silent and loud I don't think it's that complex though once you learn the gallery's layout. rating: 5 or 6/10.
