Hey, thanks for the heads up on the Skyforge review I posted. That makes sense - I wish they were more clear about it because it was the main reason I wrote the negative review. I'll get around to updating the review to reflect what you said.

When a user creates an account and goes to play, they will see a popup asking them to pay-to-play. There is also a button on that screen that you can click to open the referral code redemption screen. The user can put in a referral code from a friend there in order to get 5 free games of Town of Salem and show they were referred by that person.
