This game was a great game to play with your friends before the 2.0 patch. Now I feel after, this game has been slightly ruined by it. The funny thing is that the smallest changes had the biggest effect. An example of this is the nerf to the assault rifle that you start with. The patch notes explain that it is a "small" nerf to the weapon, but in my game play, it has been noticeably worse then it was before. I feel like this forces players to pick up weapons off the ground, which my opinion is bad. I feel before you had a choice of which weapon you could use, but it is now very linear of what works and what doesn't. Yet, this could be just my opinion, but for me it is just a very big change that doesn't work for the better of the game. Yet sadly, this is the only free and popular game that includes portal play, which is fun as much as portals go I can admit, but the gun play is horrible now.
