Very nice heists with new and improved mechanics since payday 2, such as casing mode actually being worthwhile. Sadly it is all extremely bogged down by probably the worst progression system I've ever seen. Having challenges is a nice addition to an already existing progression system but having challenges being the only EXP you get is garbage. Payday 2 prided itself in it's weapon and mask customization. Here they have it all messed up. In example to unlock a gun you have to reach a certain level but then to add a scope or a better silencer you have to play loud heists with that weapon since gun exp is different from player exp for some reason. Overall the game needs a major overhaul to its core progression system before it is even worth exploring further.
