Scratches an itch that other build-a-thons can't reach. 9/10

As someone who's always intrigued by the prospect of 4X games but finds the very, sort of, detached feel of them to be a bit of a buzzkill, I love this game. The high fantasy elements and mission system make it so much more of an immersive experience. The tedium never feels tedious. The pacing is great, and I never feel like I'm at a total loss for what to do. The only things I'd change are a perhaps more involved combat system, and maybe add some voice acted narration for the missions at least, to really reel you into the expansive universe.

I love this game. I loved the first. However, I cannot recommend this buggy, unstable, poorly balanced, rage inducing pile of early access garbage. The disconnects, the visual bugs, the phantom hits, the 17 million audio bugs, and glitches. Add that to a salty bunch of elitist trolls in the lower difficulties and you got yourself a wholly unfulfilling experience. Unless you've got 3 very patient friends, this game is utterly unplayable at times. Wait until the devs actually release a finished product, because despite it being a full release this is quite possibly the worst I've seen in my 20+ years of gaming. I've faith they'll pull it together, but for now steer clear.

Ass. This game is ass. And I mean that in the most literal way I can. Feels great in my hands, nice to look at, and most importantly, full of ♥♥♥♥. Great visuals, fluid controls, decent story/narrative. Repeatative as ♥♥♥♥ gameplay, simple bordering on tedius combat, and no bosses or real feeling of accomplishment when completing a zone. The end chases are unforgiving, pass/fail slogs with no checkpoints or ways to save progress during. Be prepared to die at least 10 times per. Cannot stress enough how absolutely dissappointing the entire experience was. 3.4 / 10 Avoid if at all possible.

I played this game when it first came out, and I thought it was pretty rad. I took a break from it for maybe too much time and when I came back, my monk who had been level 40 had been de-leveled to 0. On top of that the whole interface seems nothing like what I remember playing. Sorely dissappointed as I had a good time playing with my freinds once upon a time.

This game makes my ♥♥♥♥, ROCK HARD!
